Two of the best to ever do it,period!!! I never met Q but I met Craze and asked him how he got so good. His response was that while the kids were out partying,he was at home practicing. If you’ve never seen Q-Bert’s “Wave Blasters”.... his movie.... just picture a movie with all of his scratching completely in time with everything he’s doing.. it’s insane. I still watch it to this day. And yes I ganked it from a friend of mine. Nope... not ever returning it. I just can’t.

One beat juggle routine by Qbert is all it takes to silence critiques about his juggling skills. Nobody touches that routine. If you check all the crazy shit he does with just those 2 records then you will know why he doesn't have to pull out multiple routines to prove a point. He set that bar way too high... Even Craze admits that Q is on some alien shit with the juggles.

This is a true gem. Look at one of the turntables- it is barely on the table! I also like all the guys in the background. I think they should keep these competitions true vinyl only, even the DVS does not sound the same. Plus, once you put the songs on software- you lose all the needle positioning stuff, which Craze used to great effect in this video. Sometimes limitations lead to innovation.

DMC returned with the only vinyl categorie. Besides sound quality you can do thé same thing with dvs. Even needle drop. You have that option in every software. In the one I use is call absoluto mode. The controller vinyl replicates the song like in a true vinyl. The begining of the song is in the begining of the record. You needle drop like teu vinyl.

Both are amazing turntablist . Difference here was qbert used his turntable as an instrument and craze didn’t . Qbert did some beat juggling did some tricks like craze did but when Q started drumming and turned his 1200 into an instrument , qbert showed everyone why he is the best .Craze is still one of the best djs of all time he is definitely in my top 10 in the world

Q-bert - the goat. Craze - not far off. Point missed between the eras of these two in the comments here is that in 1997 a year before Craze's first world championship, A-track would pioneer a new fader technique called "the crab" which every DJ after that date did.

Qbert is a cult legend and can scratch good but Craze is such a force, Qbert utilizes a certain area of djing which is 90 % scratching, on the other hand craze is highly skilled in all area's. in my opinion Craze is the superior dj by far.

In this i feel its has a big brother lil brother affect to it. Q- bert helped put the skill of turntable-ism on the map an the skill an technology grew Craze perfected some things. Craze is consider new an young an fancy but still have give Q-bert the respect for paving the way. I think they were both excellent in there own time zones.
