@@Sheepblagger Lucky you. I had the VMC-002 with the upgraded plastic conductive cross-fader. I could blow on it to move it. Sold the whole setup (two 12s and the mixer) to pay rent like 10 years ago. Wish I never did that. Edit: I selected that mixer because all I did was scratch. Wasn't a DJ...just liked scratching. Didn't need that 2nd deck either to be honest. Oh I had two Shure m447s I had on them too...they no longer exist either. So sad.

@@Buschwick Gutting! All I do is scratch really. I'm not a DJ, I just like to mess about mixing and scratching at home. My 06 pro looks absolutely battered these days. The only problem with the vestax mixers was the faders dying so quickly. But I eventually put an innofader in it.

What I don’t understand how is the fader inverted. On my board moving the fader to the right would have the right wheel open instead of closed
@blvckunikorn5 ай бұрын
its "hamster" style. reversed fader is the same as using the upfader. (away from you turn on the sound.) I think its easier to crab with hamster too.

@@blvckunikornI've been trying hamster style a little of late. It's a bit of a steep learning curve! Feels so weird on the fader but much better control with the record hand.

I absolutely love the schematic Qbert Drew up. When I first started writing hip hop lyrics and more in particular lyrics for drum and bass I created a schematic with the key like a map with symbols on it I made up, everything. Cadence percussion, pauses everything. Great job of explaining. Skateboarding is the same way, you can have the dopest Pro.. but dude is horrible at explaining to you/teaching you foot placement, when and what foot catches the trick Etc.

Did qbert ever study music? I bet if someone shows him how slurs connect notes and silent that cut the fade...a percussionist could read qberts writing But I completely understood the zigzag and can easily write it out on a bar line which if show to qbert I bet 100% he would understand it maybe even correct it if it's wrong.
