Thats a indian song !! Called kaliyo ka chaman kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIm3l3SbZrd8q9U kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnzdhaODlLCEqbM
@rahulsudhir666 Жыл бұрын
It's sampled from a 70s Bollywood (Indian) song called "Kaliyon ka chaman". The lady who sang it wasn't pleased at all n sued Dre. But if I remember correctly, I don't think anythin came of it cos it was only just sampled n not used in its entirety.
@jsdhanoa0078 ай бұрын
lady didnt sue it was the original composer his name is bappi lahiri sued dr dre and he won the lawsuit.. he had sued dre for 500 mill and he won but he didnt get 500 mill they setttled it outside court.. we dont know what they settled for among them.
@OnlyTheTruthWins8 ай бұрын
@@rahulsudhir666 It's a Jamaican song called 'War' by Mr Vegas. Dre just used it to introduce a new artist but the Indians put her lights out with a 500 million suit

Quik is such a character 😂😂😂. For real music fans tho, this is the kinda background story we live for. Just described perfectly, in this scenario on the making of "So Addictive," the difference between a beat-maker and a producer. Quik's way more than a simple beat-maker, and has produced numerous classics. However, Dre was the visionary for this track.

This is for everyone that says Dr dre takes credit for production that he doesn’t do. Producing is not just making a beat. As you heard dj quick say he gave the track beat to the artist. He himself said dr dre produced the record and Dre gave him the production credit.
@learner50902 жыл бұрын
Dr.dre didn't produce the song because he stole the record from a BT express song... You can't be a producer if you taking other people's records they produce decades ago smh
@TCfromSC2 жыл бұрын
@@learner5090 You sure the BT express sample wasn't cleared?
@learner50902 жыл бұрын
@@TCfromSC I am not sure if they did, it was big stint back in the day with hip hop "producers" sneaking and sampling records without permission from bands. Rick james was ones of the guys that didn't like at first, until he heard he was getting paid alot for it. As a follow musician, I detest people sample records and gaining success of some else work.
