I think a lot of us feel the post-stream thing where you just want to come back and hang out again. It's probably why you tell us to gtfo but you're the one who has to gtfo because we'll literally stay here until you cut the stream off lol. Also, I can't think of a single guy I've ever encountered in real life (even casually in passing) who is even marginally similar to BTS. They radiate a sort of bone-deep sincerity that is incredibly rare in men that I've seen. It took me off guard that there were not one but 7 dudes who were like this. And they're so different from each other yet they all have a sort of nurturing spirit. A need to care for others and mean it.

Even compared to others groups, talking to others groups, some friends of them told how they envied how close the BTS members were like family, brothers . And how they supported each other. It seems to me that they were always authentic guys, with their personalities and trying to send a message through their artistry. They crie, they talk sincerely to their fans, they are who they are . And that is why we love them and their songs, dances , etc. They are special. We see each personality reflected in their solo projects too.

I think that they are just all good people, the stars aligned and they, with their love and care for each other, cleared and removed everything that prevented them from becoming an even better version of themselves, helped each other with all their might. I’m not sure you will even come across this comment or read it Jino as it’s a seriously long essay length but I wrote it sincerely and with good intentions because I was so moved to make it, out of a strong feeling of my heart breaking that there is the potential for Tae’s personality to be so misunderstood by some (and it’s important to state some not all) and appeared to be by you too… I think you misunderstood when Tae talked about the persona V in the Wkorea interview. This misunderstanding hurt my heart as did your in my opinion misguided comment about Tae’s personality and which was him. I found it very disheartening and disappointing because I thought after Layover content where Tae was fully himself you had finally come to understand what a genuinely sweet and lovely gentle person Tae is. Your thug V jokes in all honesty while funny at surface level at first are now so so offensive to me because it breaks my heart to see such a genuinely good person like Tae be used as an object of fun and ridicule when it’s the opposite of his warm lovely personality. Coming to the wkorea interview… The persona V = performance on stage tiger him who as he explained in the Elle emoji interview will frown to make a cool expression on stage or who is in a way fierce or will act stronger than he is. Kim Taehyung as he also said in that interview is the Teddybear Tae, ordinary him who lives a gentler pace. Kim Taehyung as Suchwita editors - staff who know him best as they have been through Bon voyage etc with them all these years- explained as the innocent soul with the gentle vibe. Over the years staff and editors have captioned him numerous times as innocent, pure, wingless Angel Kim Taehyung in content, as well as Mother ‘V’eresa and ‘V’lorence Nightingale. Their Happiness preacher and moodmaker. They know, and the boys know him best and they always describe him as the most humane, down to earth and pure innocent soul and devoid of pollution… all their words to describe him. I think it’s also very telling that Tae has a very longstanding and loyal circle of friends including from his high school days… There are three types of how people see Tae in my opinion… the general fans who only ever see him on stage or as part of misleading compilations and tik tok edits online and get a very very misleading impression of him and 🎉who don’t bother to dig deeper but have very surface level idea of him… Those who in some bizarre twisted way see him as competion towards their bias or their favourite ( even though the 7 love each other and cherish each other) therefore they look for any excuse to tear him down or twist what he does negatively or create misleading narratives about him… including sadly a few in your chat… (I think it’s always useful to bare in mind what people’s intentions are when they comment about Tae and what their motivations are.) And then we come to the genuine Tae biases and true genuine OT7’s who have actually watched all the Tae content and Tae lives and read the interviews who know how genuine, honest, sweet, thoughtful and kind Taehyung is. I really think to get an idea of how kind gentle hearted and sensitive Tae is you should read the Korean comments about Tae on his Yoo Quiz episode.. Just go and read the ones on the highlight vid here and everything will be clear to you they are very insightful and will help much better than my comment could. Or better yet watch his Yoo quiz ep. Personally while I respect Taylor, her love for BTS and her effort in making this compilation, she falls into the category that doesn’t understand Tae’s personality beyond very surface level as he is not her bias at all, hence the clips she used don’t give the full idea of what he is like at all. A very very good example is the clip she used to illustrate his different way of thinking. She had two options from the same episode, where they were trying to do matching poses, and the one where he caught a fish while all else are casting the rod, or the cola where all are drinking and he opens the can… it might seem simple and some won’t understand what I’m on about but the impression they give are completely different… in the former clip which is not included in this compilation… you see his different way of thinking in a positive light and hear the members praise him and in the second clip it gives a more negative impression. I always find it curious which type of clips creators and editors go for because it fully explains the narrative and picture of Tae they are trying to build and create in others minds. It’s the same for the clips they used to describe him… there were hundreds of clips from members which better explain Tae’s beautiful thoughtful personality even from the same interview where JK talked about Namjoon, he also gives a beautiful description of Tae, or different interviews how Namjoon and Jimin have described Tae and the pureness of his soul.( pureness and an innocent soul have nothing to do with being childish btw as Jimin also makes sure to be clear about, they also don’t mean that Tae doesn’t have sexiness about him etc and isn’t an adult man etc) the purity of his soul is what makes Tae special. I personally feel many who are jaded in life or turned cynical by life will not be able to see his light as they have a dark soul that is burned by the light he emits… they are the ones who then misunderstand many of his actions through their own bitter lense. To also understand Tae throughout the years you need to understand all the personal tragedy he has been through. A brief interlude to overview of some of those hardships very briefly: -He grew up in a poor farming family, while his duel income parents worked, his dad selling clothes and his mum as a bank clerk. He was mostly brought up by his grandmother, mainly separately from his younger brother and sister. His poor upbringing manifests in some long standing health conditions he has… the most well known his skin condition. -He mainly saw his parents on the weekends. In the early years he talked often of his excitement at his dad visiting him during his childhood. -He was bullied in a specific period of his school days for being different. -He had an especially hard time in being separated from his family when he was a trainee in Seoul- as he stated in the ot7 ‘You quiz on the Block’ his parents would have to undertake a 12 hour journey to come see him as they worked on a small island so he saw them vary vary rarely and very briefly when he did as they would have to head back for work. -In the early years he also had a hard time due to his dialect and TaeTae language. -In roughly an 18 month period he had 3 major bereavements. Sep 2016 his paternal grandmother who mainly brought him up, Oct 2017 his model friend, he died from suicide, July 2018 his paternal grandfather whom he he had lived with passed. -Like all the BTS members (at one time or another) but in Tae’s case consistently: He has been the target of unwarranted and sustained jealousy and hate campaigns from anti-fans and some solo’s purely for his immense popularity. At times it has been particularly vile and horrific. I wont trigger anyone by giving examples. He is also the member most often used in fake headlines and click bait due to his popularity. The bullying of him was so bad that in his chapter in the BTS book they specifically mention cyberbullying in connection to Tae and the 2016 time frame. -2018 to 2020 were difficult years for him with his on off insomnia and depression. He talked about this in Proof collectors edition interviews and during BE Album promotions multiple times. As well as the difficulty of 2018 on Suchwita with Yoongi. Continued 2/2 When it comes to what Tae biases specifically see in Tae (read on for the main reason) there is many things and there are many reasons… as there is something very enchanting and mesmerising about Taehyungie that draws people of all ages and sexes and backgrounds in. He has many fanboys (including many famous Thai actors etc) many lgbtq identifying fans as well as mant female fans who are much older. Who see him with a maternal or sisterly instinct. Yes visually Taehyung is very pretty and the icon of natural beauty, everyone can see by just looking at him, how good looking he is and it’s adorable that he himself isn’t aware how beautiful he is and how he gets shy and embarrassed when people compliment him. To many he is nicknamed a stage genius who has got a beautiful, warm and versatile, unique voice with crazy range and his dancing is super skilful, seductive, soft and powerful, depending on what the song calls for and that his facial expressions are unmatched. But I think it’s the inner mysterious glow that Taehyung has that really captures people and keeps everyone hooked. I’ve heard him be described as like a siren or a vixen and I think those fit his stage persona well. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I think it’s really his soft and gentle , playful, sometimes goofy, Teddybear like personality offstage that is the opposite of his charismatic, confident and sassy on stage persona that captures people’s hearts fully and makes people love him more and more and keeps people’s attentions. The more anecdotes you discover about Tae the more your heart warms to him and is moved by him even after all these years. When you watch more content, it becomes really so abundantly clear that Taehyung is really so gentle, soft, sweet natured, sentimental, kind and a considerate, respectful person who has a heart of gold. He’s really creative, intelligent, witty and thinks outside of what others would normally think. At the same time he has an otherworldly old soul, with a love of all things nostalgic and sentimental. He also has such a great sense of entertainment too. He has said he values individuality and uniqueness and being true to himself. He’s an honest person and he’s a super loyal person to have in your corner and he cherishes his members, friends, family and ARMY so so much. People like Taehyung are very very very rare in life, a purity, goodness and innocence that remains in them despite and inspite of going through a lot of hardship and difficulty… people like Taehyung are the hearts of the universe… they remind us to reflect on ourselves and to be better people. People tend to realise quite late on (if they ever do) but he is quite shy and prone to nerves despite appearing confident. He’s the master of masking it though and the master of a poker face that he uses to calm his nerves etc as he’s said himself in interviews. But once you get to know him more and his tells it becomes obvious. Everyone one who ever works with him professionally only ever has good things to say about him. As I said again question the agenda of the very very rare individual who does speak bad about him (I don’t know of any.) What I will leave you with is that Tae is also famously known by K-army to have ‘zero attack and zero defence’. Another often used phrase by k-army for Tae is ‘His face is a masterpiece, his personality a fairytale and his life a movie’… but perhaps the best way of you understanding Tae’s kind personality is from a at first glance very lighthearted and seemingly simple anecdote… Tae revealed his League of legends rank… when he did so we could see his honour ranking which was 5… many gaming netizens commented to explain what this signified and said about Tae’s personality… as it’s very very difficult for people to achieve as it’s based on your score over a long time of playing the game with others and that it’s a score given by others whom you often compete with its. They said that it basically means he has the personality of a saint. I can’t begin to tell you how loudly this speaks about Tae’s personality. P.s I will end with one very important point, much of Tae’s communication is done non-verbally through his body language and facial expressions, because you watch with bars, you miss out on so much of it. Think back to the content you saw without bars, Tae’s meeting with that ARMY, and think what a strong connection you felt at the time Jino… that should give you an idea of how much of his personality gets missed out on through unavoidably watching through bars. P.p.s this is not directed towards you Jino but I feel the need to say that sometimes peoples instinct when they don’t understand something is to be cynical or flippant or to dismiss and mock it or to be suspicious of it, and it often happens to the people that don’t fit the mold of this cruel society. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Thanks. Your reactions always interesting. I dont get how you have J Hope as bias and wrecker as Jungkook. Quite simply mind boggling. They dont match. Hobi is a super gifted artist. To be fair to Namjoon, he's the quiet behind the scene eanest sincere and gentle leader who believes in horizontal democracy. Hobi like Jimin is sweet and kind but Hobi can be bossy and firm. Whereas Namjoon is simply not bossy. He has taken the majority burden of writing songs (most are legendary) fir BTS unlike Suga who preferred to pursue his own goals. Namjoon is the epitome of service and doesn't have domineering personality like Suga and J Hope. I think you are unduly harsh to Namjoonl
