Yes, Jino, kpop desperately needs to go back to focusing on making actual good music, instead of all the crap that's been coming out. Seriously, if most of the music that is coming out nowadays didn't have the MV/visuals to distract people from those noise songs, hardly anyone would be listening to those songs. So glad this group came out with songs that are actually good easy listening songs. I have listened to Hurt over 30 times and it does not get old.

I’m tired of saying this everytime people complain about their age. They’re the same people who goes crazy because of Wonyoung, who’s the same age as Minji and Hanni. And people keep calling these girls babies who shouldn’t have debuted this young while calling other idols who are the same age and even younger IT 4th gen and amazing idols eith lots of potential. Not to mention the dance break in Love Dive. I never saw anyone complaining about it when Leseo is lit one year younger than Hyein. Lapillus’ maknae is the same age as Hyein, classy members, niki when he debuted. Also these idols: yujin, somi, jk, yuna, boa, all nct dream members, hyuka, taemin, hyuna, IU, krystal, eunchae. nmixx members, yeseo, suzy, sohyun, jiheon, sohee… debuted in between 13-16 y/o and the list keeps going on and on. Why are they making noise about the age in this group??? They really are showing the double standards.

They’re talking about stanning, and you know that that is more than just listening to music, it’s following their variety content as well and other things not related to music exclusively. I really like them and I plan to support them, but I also don’t know if I’m gonna be able to get really into them bc of how young they are. I’m in the same range of age as the BTS members, and that age difference has already prevented me from getting really into TXT, but I still casually listen to them. Like given the state kpop right now which basically just made a more niche barrier between fans and public and I totally agree how simple yet standout they are in terms of presence like it no joke just took over all the charts domestically even competing such big names that shocked a lot of fans since attention just became a raid boss in charts as is currently being head to head on BP domestically. Do like on what they are going for like I can feel they are into something here giving such fresh and more nostalgic feels on what kpop was before that a lot of people missed a lot. Props again to ador and new jeans to pull off such concept like many groups was doing this before but fail to meet satisfactory results and just hop into the more hectic, frantic, overlayered, complex, loud ass chatchy beats which people did like but just made the industry stale and bland because of the massive influx of it.

Lmaoo I was wondering if you would react to aespa and what you’d think about them, but the commentary in this video answered everything 😭 (their overdone concept put me off of them initially but I really started appreciating their style with time… ok I need to forget the lyrics and the whole kwangya thing, but now I dig the cyberpunk-esque thing they got going.) About NewJeans, I really love what they have put out so far, and I agree with everything you said, it’s nothing revolutionary or grandiose, and yet they feel like a breath of fresh air, just nice music and good chill vibes. The first two song I actually didn’t love the beat at the very begging and/or at least alone. It sound fine and pretty good with the voices, etc.(however it is growing on me) The first song: I personally love the chorus. It feels very new and I love the sound. The second one: I really like this song, except I think it is the bridge where it says, “I just want you call my phone”. That is the only part of the song I don’t like. The third song I do like and she has beautiful vocals. I do agree with you Jino that I don’t need to MV’s to be super crazy. Honestly I just want the video to help to the story of the song/album that they are trying to say. However MV’s will never determine if I like a song or not, because I am not going to be watching the song every time I listen to it. I just want to like the song from beginning to end. As a debut I totally see this group potential and I am excited for them.
