I made this as a fan music video for DJ Shadow's Midnight In A Perfect World. My interpretation of the music and an outlet for creative expression. This was shot entirely with a digital camera (Canon PowerShot SD750) and edited with WMM. Enjoy and comment on what you think. Peace.

This video is what came to mind before I even saw it. A city becomes almost a sentient animal, it's veins of highways and subway lines in eternal motion. The hum of millions living in tight quarters, that groan borne from decades of urban decay and pollution. The unholy alliance of grittiness and industrial beauty. It's something you can't see on tv, you have to stand in it to see it for yourself

Rainy streets and alienation and rattling rides on subways reeking of urine to destinations at one of the less-frequented stops in search of certain hard kicks that only the city could serve up. Now I, a comfortably settled old man, am sitting here missing the city all over again. Damn, this is well done. Perfect.
