A couple of months I paid 15 pounds to see Reid in a venue of about 50. A true British music legend. Great to see people like Shadow re-recognising his talent. Such an amazing vocalist.

Loved that voice since the '60's, and the tune grabbed my ears the first time I hear it on 6 Music. I know a few of the wonderful things DJ Shadow has done to people's heads in the past, but you don't have to be so judgmental about the present. Just enjoy this for what it is now, and be glad that the man is still creating new music.

I bought his self titled album when I was 18 because I thought he was the coolest looking rock star ever. LOL! Little did I know what was inside. Stay With Me, the great rendition of Highway 61 and the segue into Friends hooked me for life. And the band on that LP was unique with a great Hammond B3 sound I saw him three times after that in Michigan where he had a big fan base. I still love Terry Reid.

I recon you should check out Terry Reid and his early stuff before you comment... the man's a living legend from the 60's with one of the greatest voices ever to have existed (granted its a little rusty now but that happens when you age you know?) He was asked to be the lead singer for Led Zepplin but had to turn it down and recommended his friend Robert Plant, same thing with Deep Purple
