On this day 10 years ago the scene lost a remarkable DJ and producer, Gifford Noel (DJ Trend) who sadly passed away on his 32 birthday. His legacy lives on and he will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace.

The good old days ! If only the Jungle scene was as flexible and versatile as the Garage scene, we could of had Pay as you go and Heartless crew playing at Telepathy and Roast instead of Sun city/Costa nostra etc 👏🏾👊🏽💥

@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio Indeed ! And that arrogance led to the demise of the Jungle scene and the explosion of the UK Garage scene. I lost count of the amount of times Garage ravers would say "I used to go Jungle raves but I'm not feeling it anymore" And the rest is history...🙏🏽

@@mrdubplate9601 So true if you looked at all the club bookings during that time in London they were mainly garage raves. Although there was Drum & Bass nights were running strong they didn't dominate the clubbing scene at that point, hence why raves were moving to Atomics, Maidstone and other parts of the country. The DNB scene still presently suffers from of those symptoms. There should be way more people breaking through especially with London's music gaining international appeal. It's a no brainer. There's room for everyone and it's nobodies scene to take away. Yes you have a your godfathers and we salute them but what about the future.
