I agree with you about the dinner service it should be someone from catering, the venue, a coordinator or anyone else. DJ should only need to pay attention to the music

Drink only drinks like soda or water because beer would ruin yourself from working and beer is bad 4 u.

I was also about to criticize the cables but I saw that your plug cable is balanced, it is fine to use it that way, in your case you do not saturate the speaker and it is fine to work like that with that cable.

@@djaztec97talking about XLR Cables instead of Quarter inch.. XLR are balanced giving you full sound from the mixer. Quarter inches are usually unbalanced and if you are a beginner DJ or sound tech, you’ll wonder why your volume is very low and why you're missing certain vocals and sound effects from unbalanced tracks

When I have the whole QSC setup the tops I put them at 100 Hertz and the subs. I put them at 80 Hertz.

Always amazing work. How in the world do you keep those FX lights from facing down throughout the night? I can’t get them to stay up on the speaker also what are you use to keep them on top of the speakers. I have a gig in two days and I want to use mine so this would really help me a lot

I have noticed that sometimes the wash will fall face or back. I make sure I tighten them real good and also to set them up on the speaker. I use a bolt that is bolted onto the speaker. @@TheDjUnstopable yeah bro it is a game changer if you run cords long distances like the power supply is far away or you are on a stage but want to put the speakers at the front of the stage. Plus it looks better than stooping down and taping wires all the time

Most of the time I just connect straight into the controller. Sometimes I do bring the external mixer but I try not to. The less equipment. I can bring the easier on my back. To me using it straight into the controller it still sounds good. I don't know if you can tell the difference

I always run my subs on mono (external mixer) to have independent control of them from my mains. Hits way harder and have a lot more headroom for volume. Never like the main volume on my controller to be the master for all the speakers. 🔊

DJ Unstoppable I knew the problem with your wireless dmx before you said it lol. I’ve done it myself. Since the channel button is right next to the sliding power button, it’s very easy to accidentally tap the channel button.

@@TheDjUnstopable i didnt enjoy being a jukebox. Spotify lists and having to stick with them. Brides also are getting more demanding about things. I did a wedding in san diego and the bride threatened to cancel the paypal payment if i used that horn. I used the horn after i announced the bridal party and b and g. Its a drag man.

I know money is great in weddings but to me all creativity, mash ups etc is smothered by these do not play lists and their demands and now even lawsuits are getting out of hand,wtf! What the hell happened to introducing new songs, which are not even on radio, or reading the crowd, taking a party on a musical journey experience. Almost every DJ has to play the same songs, and best part is the crowd acts like they heard the song first time.. example Little John usher - Yeah🤦♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️

I recently talked to a sound engineer and he told me it's very extremely minimal the difference between quarter inch to XLR. I asked him is it worth replacing my quarter inch cables and he said to stay how I am. No need to switch to XLR.

@@TheDjUnstopable i use to think so to but u will find that line inputs distort at higher volumes with quater inch. Mic input is different because it requires more gain to get good volume, but for mobile dj purposes xlr to xlr. Thats another reason companies like rane are getting rid of them.

Use that same gaffer tape on the speaker poles to save the paint.

Oh no! That's the last thing I want to use around my speaker pulls on cables. That sticky residue on the tape will stay on the speaker pole and potentially on the cable. I don't like when that happens. Zip ties are the best. Some people tell me to use Velcro. I don't like how Velcro bunches up in my backpack. I can purchase a handful of zip ties for a few bucks at the 99 cent store

Somebody on KZbin actually tested them out. And there is a difference between XLR and quarter inch. But it's actually very my new that your ear can even tell the difference. Check out on Google. You'll see!
