I've been hearing about how in Australia if you sue someone and you lose that case, then you have to pay their lawyer's legal fees. On the surface that sounds like a good idea because it would make you think twice about bringing some fake case if you knew you would have to pay hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars when you lose because you brought some BS. I bet people bring far less frivolous cases there, and I bet far less cases end in settling since if you're in the right you'll probably get your legal fees covered by the person in the wrong.
