I tackled three separate dance sets-two before dinner and one after-with a mix of genres that kept the guests engaged. 🎧 Saturday: Club Night at 515 Main (Bethlehem, PA)
This club was packed! The crowd was diverse, giving me the opportunity to play everything from GloRilla to Panic! At the Disco. The energy in the room was unmatched, and I leaned on my experience to keep the dance floor moving with seamless transitions across multiple genres.
Sunday: HUGE Industry Party at Raleigh Underground (Dallas, TX)
After a quick flight, I made it just in time for soundcheck at this massive industry event. The production was top-tier, with a full run of show that included:
• DJ Nate Nelson’s opening set
• A live band performance
• My 2.5-hour set featuring everything from classics to today’s hits for a wildly diverse crowd
• DJ Will Trimmer closing out the night

Here you practically need to be in a bunker to protect yourself and your equipment from drunk people or guests who think they can use your booth to lean against. Must be an east coast thing, I never do any dancing until it's time to dance. Occasionally couples want to do their first dance(s) just after intros but then it's back to background dinner music. some advice Nick, stick to originals and not so many remixes when its a tough crowd, also when its an older crowd, Trust me I've been in every scenario at gigs, don't let it get you down when crowd doesn't dance, when this happens, Just think I already got Paid if these people don't want to dance that's their loss, couple paid good money for you and their guest just don't feel like dancing.
