I think you should listen to - Celine Dion Challenge - All By Myself (Original Key) with Erik Grönwall. You will not be disappointed. Erik Grönwall won Idol Sweden in 2009. He is friends with Tommy Johansson who you have reacted to before. Two really good Swedish rock voices, they even work together sometimes. 🤘🎵🎶

Erik was the vocalist in Skid Row and just quit there to take care of his health. He was previous in the band HEAT and New Horizon both bands together with Jona Tee. Jona plays a lit of instruments in Eriks covers and does mix, master and production. For another side to Eriks vocals, his cover of Black Sabbaths Headless cross are epic, and one of many favorites of mine . Enjoyed your reaction 😀🇸🇪

He has been front singer for Swedish H.e.a.t 10 years after he won Swedish Idol 2009, got acute lymphoma 2021, and join his teenage favorite band as a front singer 24 Mars 2022, SKID ROW, after doing a bone transplant end of the summer 2021. But he had to jump off the band in the end of Mars 2024. Because he has problems himself “Always the Health First”. He also had a wife and a little son, so he had not only himself to thinking about. In 2009, Erik won Swedish Idol and performed the specially written song Higher in the final. On March 23, 2022, it was announced by Eddie Trunk that Grönwall is replacing ZP Theart as the lead singer of Skid Row. In March 2024, Erik announced that he was leaving Skid Row for health reasons after being diagnosed with leukemia. His first single, "Higher", reached gold on digital downloads after only three days. His debut album, self-titled Erik Grönwall, was released just ten days after the finals and debuted at number one on the Swedish albums chart and was certified platinum. Both as a solo artist and band member, Grönwall has numerous top 40 hits.

Having a metal artist cover this song will only help to enhance Dolly's street cred as member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Any royalties she may get are just the maraschino cherry on the parfait. Besides, knowing her history I would be stunned if she doesn't donate most of it to charity anyway. Finally, best wishes to Dolly as she continues to take care of her ailing husband. I am looking forward to this, as I am developing a sweet tooth for Scandanavian metal.

Dolly Parton wrote this song and it was popular during the ‘70s. Whitney Houston made this song skyrocket! But Erik Gromwall is absolutely unbelievable! He controls his breath, his highs are out of this world then his voice is almost at a whisper. Why are we not hearing more on this guy? I have to listen to him every night.

Erik is truly one of the greatest rock singers of our generation. You really need to check out more of his covers, he can literally sing any genre. Whitney had a 4 octave range, he has a 5. Then check out Dino Jelusic, absolutely phenomenal voice.
