This is the 1st time I have heard this song by Erik and he slayed this song!!! My first introduction to him, was a cover of " Breaking the Silence" with Dan Vasc. If you have not seen or heard it, you need to ASAP. I also just read a bio on Erik and I was shocked to hear he had Lymphatic Leukemia. He seems to be recovered and that is a Treat for the music world to hear more amazing sounds from him. Loved watching you appreciating his crazy-good voice !!! Thanks. ☺

You got to check out Erik's version of Iron Maidens Hallowed be thy name . As a die hard Maiden fan I was super impressed by his version . Erick and Tommy Johannsen are a reliable staple for quality online performances from Sweden , they have their own thing going on , though Erik has had to get through cancer treatment and recovery , to step down as Skid Rows front Man . They are very versatile musicians and well worth a deep dive into , as they really put in the effort for their fans which we really appreciate. They ARE The Real Deal . Great reaction 🇦🇺

It takes a great singer to do a song that is this big (I mean the Whitney Version) My favorite version has always been the original Dolly Parton. She wrote the song and with just her beautiful voice and delicate vocals made people feel the emotion. Erik in my opinion managed to do both. He nailed all of the powerful vocals in the Whitney version, but at the same time he had the actual tenderness and emotion of the Dolly one. I have a feeling that he did research before doing this and actually listened to the original. Otherwise he would not have been able to get the actual feeling of the song across. It literally makes me feel sick to my stomach that Erik, such an amazing talent had to leave Skid Row because of cancer.

You also have to check out another Swedish musician, Tommy Johansson who was lead guitarist in Sabaton which he left this year to focus on his own band Majestica and his KZbin channel. He is a multitalented musician. Plays all instruments himself and has a fantastic voice. He upgrades every song he cover, never disappoints! I suggest Stealheart’s “She’s gone” or Aerosmith “Dream On”. 🎸🎼🇸🇪

Tommy's voice is nowhere near Eric's, I find Tommy's voice extremely boring to listen to as nothing happens in his voice no matter what key he sings in. Feels like he has a filter he can't get through, no crunch, no depth, no feel, technically bad and definitely no rock voice. Tommy sounds very nasal in his voice.
