Yes, the opening is Simpsons, mom and dad are The Jetsons, Sister Bertha better than you is from Recess,in the rededication the Carmichaels from Rug Rats and the Granny is Granny with Tweetybird,and the little boy is Bambam from the Flintstones. And yesthats the guys!

When my son was 3 months old I was walking him to church in a stroller when a baby squirrel ran under the stroller. I stopped afraid I was going to run over the little guy when the mother came running down the tree and under the stroller as swell. You would think both would then go back up the tree. Nope! They climbed my stout legs shredding pantyhose and up my skirt. There I was jumping Ang screaming slapping at my skirts not ten steps from the doors and right before the windows for all to see. The squirrels did eventually run down leaving me with more than a couple dozen claw marks per leg. My mother-in-law at the time complained about me nearly being late and not believing me when I told her why I was a mess. It took several people telling her about me screaming and jumping around then I was lectured on decorum. Let's just say I don't miss those talks but am glad she is still around to love my son as any good grandmother should. You are entertaining as all heck to watch. Your energy is a bright enthusiastic light. May I suggest you check out Dan Vasc singing Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" Dan does his for a couple who are suffering the loss of the husband dieing and requesting it for his funeral. If that isn't enough to bring tears I don't know what is.

As you mentioned, love the musical interjections in the backing vocals that Home Free throws in, like whistling "Dixie" after the first few opening lines, or "in his drawers"....and in case you didn't catch it, the interjection, "There once was a sailor filled with shame" is sung to the opening melody of "The Wellerman"

Ray Stevens was noted for his novelty songs ("Along Came Jones", "Sittin' Up with the Dead", etc.) but he also has a gorgeous gospel album & his rendition of "Misty" is unforgettable. Ray Stevens had a summer replacement show with Mama Cass in 1970 (parts of it are on y/t). I love this video - it's just perfect.

That was such a fun rendition of this song. And loved the animation! Tim is perfect for the narrating of this song. This was originally done by Ray Stevens in 1984. There is a live version of this you should check out. He is a country & pop singer-songwriter & comedian known for his novelty hits such as "Gitarzan", "Ahab The Arab", "Along Came Jones", "The Streak" & others. But he also did a few serious songs such as "Misty" & "Everything Is Beautiful" which he won a Grammy for in 1970.

It's all intentional, yep! Our boys have been 'cultured' properly. Also, the line-up from the pews: back left is Adam Rupp, back right is Adam Chance, front left Tim, front center Rob, and front right Austin. Threw me off the first watch since Chance's hair is much darker and Adam's is lighter, but hey, they switch other 'characters' hair was different too. It's all good, and all awesome! The harmonies, the artwork, the sass, and Tim's perfect storytime voice :)

Front row left to right Tim, Rob, & Austin, 2nd row- Adam & Chance. I understand why you didn't recognize them because for some reason the animators changed their hair color. They made both Tim and Chance blonds and made Adam R with brown hair. Austin's is a reddish brown and Rob's hair is lighter than Austin's and reddish instead of dark brown.
