As I'm sure viewers may notice, the narration in this video is rather brisk. I made this for a school project, and the video had to be under 10 minutes in length. If the speed is too fast for you, hover over the video, click the settings wheel, click "Playback speed", and adjust it to 0.75 (or slower if you desire). I appreciate that so many people have found this video, and I enjoy getting to share the knowledge I have, but this is not exactly a professional documentary, and it's pointless to judge it as such.
If you happen to be using this video as reference for your own NHD project, the main feedback I got from judges was that the narration was too fast, and that I should've interviewed experts.

I thought I was going to be haunted by the snippet you played out with but luckily I tracked it down in about 10 minutes from the credits - the Sant Andreu Jazz Band playing Minor Swing from 9 years ago. Disappointed that some people commenting are so negative. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. There again, I’m English and was brought up to have good manners.

Only chords with 2 notes? That's a harmony ;) Chords need 3 notes...and Django could play full 6 note chords with remarkable dexterity! Nice little documentary! Thanks :)

You missed a point which is that he did actually use his ring and little finger (pinky) to hold down the highest strings - although he could not flex the fingers he did use them.

People said it was impossible for Django to play a wrong note. His musical mind was so lightening fast that even if he played a note that sounded a bit off the notes he played imediately after determine if its out of context. S o he would always resolve it and get out of jail

Django was a great musician -not a product to be analysed at full speed - sorry he deserves better - and owes a lot to his teaming up with Stefan Grappelli - look up Diz Dizley from the ‘70’s too

Thanks for watching my video! 1. While Django was born in Belgium, he spent most of his life in France, and made most of his career in France. 2. Your comment about my narration is definitely creative, I'll give you credit for that. 3. If the narration speed is too fast for you, hover over the video, click the settings gear, and change the playback speed to 0.75. 4. I was in fact reading from a script! Got it in one!

Do you happen to know the young lady's name in the clip at the end? By and large, in my 57+ years of playing music, females seem to come closest to the dexterity Django possessed.
