@@DJAUDITS Am I correct in saying that in the CAA rules/regs there is something about interfering/disturbing a drone pilot whilst flying the drone, is actually a criminal offence. Maybe you could start to use that to stop them talking to you whilst flying and wait for you to land, just a thought.

The older, bald cop just can’t comprehend that he is not in control of the situation and cannot swallow his ego for a second and acknowledge that DJ can teach him a very valuable lesson. His only objective is to try and create some trumped up charge to prop up his need to be dominant in a situation where he is simply making himself look more and more stupid. I can only imagine how many times in the past he has fabricated the necessary conditions to manufacture charges against people who are less competent in their knowledge of the law than DJ. Even worse, is thinking about how the police routinely behaved before the days of the pocket cell phone camera!

OLDER COP = Tyrant. As a 33 year full-time army veteran I can clearly say that even when on operations overseas we don't have such an arrogant attitude towards the local population, yet here we are seeing a worse attitude being thrust onto the British population by a grumpy old cop.

@@sandwichman100 That's a big part of the 2-teir policing problem, If the cops don't like you for whatever reason (lets be honest, in these types of videos at LEAST, they don't like the cameras) they will dig and dig to fork you over....but when you have legitimate complaints about the other party (even, or especially the cops) they will do everything the can to explain away any transgressions. IMO, that's what the older guy was doing....'oh you have a valid answer' ......I'll walk away and find another line of attack. Cops should go through better training in how to deal with the public with respect, until they can see for themselves that something is off. (they should be neutral if there's no immediate danger, regardless of who called them.) Nothing against decent cops (they all have to deal with shirt the rest of us don't and wouldn't want to).....but the ones that try to pad their record on the job (maybe their pressured to "get results")....they can fork right off! The only measure of how the police forces are doing should be how the public perceive them, not the number of arrests they make. ( we all know, at least SOME of the problems start with orders from the top) Was it the Westminster protests? 500 arrests.....most of them peaceful protesters, unable to leave until they were arrested.......but it made a good headline!!!! Sry @DJAUDITS and @sandwichman100 I was a little off topic (COUGH::drunk::COUGH )but still somewhat relevant.😉

The whole exercise of auditing has proven the shocking truth that very few costumed officers have any clue of law and either a carefree or hatred of people's rights, imagine the amount of people who have been violated and abused because of that sad fact, myself included, what an embarrassment and this is why police are not respected but constables are.

Portable camera's have shown what the police are really like. My first auditor video (not DJ) had me thinking they only want a violent reaction and push to make that happen. Then a few more appeared in my feed and I could see that many are just recording legally and the police were breaking the law themselves.

Rock up at a location where a crime isn't occurring, Park on a road, then get locked out the car, Make unlawful demands, Fail to listen to laws or explanation from an informed citizen, Demand personal information, Cite incorrect documents, Call their mate who also doesn't know the law, Make small talk when they finally find out they're wrong, Cop-splain to not obstruct the road, then they've been guilty of that for over 20 minutes. @@TimTheComputerDoctor Using Article 240 of the Air Navigation Order would be a massive stretch. How else can anyone ask a drone pilot to land? Are you suggesting that a police officer can't walk up and ask the pilot to land a drone while its in flight? It's in the legislation that they can.

Why did you bring the drone down ? The police can only make you land your drone if they think it's connected to an offence, they can't make you land it to simply check the weight.

That old copper full of power in his uniform, ignorant, bad tempered, aggressive, arrogant, getting really pissed of he can't find anything to book you for, doesn't like to be told by anyone, no wonder people are loosing confidence in the Police force, he should be out dealing with real criminals and keeping the public safe. The younger copper eventually calmed and came across far more polite he should teach that old copper how to behave. I just love it when you calmly put these nasty coppers to right with your greater knowledge of the law. Then he tries to win you over showing interest in you bike, didn't work as you were about to say single speed for yourself no problem but your on the large side, hahaha.

I get the bluster when they arrive, barking orders, making things up but when they're proved wrong not one word of apology, just get away as fast as you can. If you treated a member of the police with the same tone you might find yourself in big trouble.

You're simply the AtoZ on drone flying laws DJ. You're amazing to listen to when required to state any law whilst flying your drone and if that person, whether it's a police officer or a member of the public, if they state any law that is incorrect for flying drones that are less than 250G in weight, you're on them like a tone of bricks! If that was me, from time to time, I'd forget the odd law lol! You literally know everything that is required for drone flying. Amazing to listen to DJ, love your daily videos, a massive well done on your efforts on getting yourself to where you are today to know what's exactly required to fly drones. Well done DJ!🙌🙌

You've got to feel sorry for these officers, the young one knew absolutely nothing and admitted it. The older one knew absolutely nothing but still wanted to exert his perceived authority and was unwilling to be educated by an expert. When will they ever learn? The myrider won't be any good for him unless he goes on a diet.
