Petite erreur dans le descriptif, le 3eme son , le claqué ou slap est utlisé dans votre enregistrement ( bass , tonic et slap ).

I like the look of this drum. Anyone know what it is? Thanks for video.

u should upload mirrored versions that would be easier to play along with like the video is flipped horizontally

Thank you. I found the video useful, but having the camera in front of you adds a level of complexity to the learning, as the hands are opposite. Placing the camera behind you next time would allow students to mimic your hands more easily.

When doing bass, your fingers with thumb should be tighter together. Standard without thumb. Spread them when slapping. You'll notice the difference. P.S. Try and feel the drum.

But coming from a slap... Isn't it hard to close your fingers that quick. Well maybe not..

This was ok but it didnt really teach me how to actually do these rhythms so it would be nice to have a tutorial video :D

Tim Othy It takes practice, lots of practice. Also, don't think about your drumming, feel your drumming. I always tell people drumming, especially hand drumming, is a snake brain activity. Practice while watching TV it will help keep your mind out and let your feelings talk to the drum.

It doesn't seem as though the rhythm parts and the rhythm names are in the correct order. Are they?
@multipercussion201011 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean, but in this video I don't use the slap so it is not necessary to spread my fingers. I learned a lot in Africa about djembe playing. Every year I am teached by professional teachers. The position of your hands is personal. Imprtant is the sound. I know that the sound of this video isn't good, it's taken by a small camera. But it only shows you the rhythm, not techniques. Anyway thanks for your comment.
