Obstruction, anti-social behavior, terrorism, harassment alarm and distress, they're just slots on a big wheel they spin when depriving the people they're supposed to protect of their human rights under the law, when those people haven't actually broken any law. It just comes down to the mood of the police standing in front of you, and if they personally approve of what you're doing.

Additionally, she was correct in stating that his actions amounted to obstructing the police in carrying out their duties. Since he had no legitimate reason to be on the property, the officers had to step outside to address the situation, which indeed constitutes an obstruction, thereby making him liable for arrest. Trespass is not just about whether there is a sign or not. It's about entering/staying somewhere when you've been *notified* that you're not welcome. A big "no entry" sign is one way to notify you - but verbally informing you is also a valid way to notify you. I think some auditors focus too much on the signs. Sure, if you walk in somewhere and there's no sign, you're not trespassing. But once you've been notified, but refuse to leave, you are now trespassing.
