We have writing system in African 60,000 years old, our writing system are 10x older than European life span, at least. These languages and writing systems still exists and are taught, thousands of manuscripts in Bamum, Shumon, Nsibidi survived the destruction brought by the Europeans, so there you have it.

I'm seeing this in March 2021 for the first time, so I checked AEA"s site as it's new to me. Your comments are quite true about the youth, as well as the familiarity of the men's faces. You can sense their wisdom too. It must have been an amazing experience sitting and communing with them. I believe I may have seen that library in a different network's presentation, if not, a similar one.

Amazing production, I love how interactive this series is. Most of the time we only get flyovers of the mosque, and b-rolls of the manuscripts but you actually took the time to give us the internal tour of the Djenné mosque and analyze the manuscripts, sensational! One small correction However, whilst modern Djenné only dates to the 11th century, the ancient settlement of Djenné-Jenno actually has settlements which dates back to 250 BC.

Yet we are bombarded by the history's of a few cultures as representatives of the ancient world. That's why we need to display the most grandest story of all, our story. We were once great King's👑 and Queens 👑 of Mighty Empire's, someone should write a series about our Glory years in power. Call it "The time before time", that Michael Jackson video "Remember the time" would be a great place to draw inspiration from. Or even the Hyksos events that took place between the 10th and 17th Kemet dynasties. "Kemet" would be a great Title series too.

I am glad you are uploading videos again ... :-) And may God bless and watch over the baby and the entire family. I love how the Wife is the Alpha person in the family who provides depth with warm emotion .... but the Husband still shows maturity, strength and standard to drive and lead the family together with the Wife to the ultimate purpose of life, which is Happiness (then the Wife follow into his wise mature masculine). This matriarchy system is how we as FULANI people understand the universe around us (the prehistorical Kemet Indian Vedic spirituality) My genetic map consist of: (1)West African Bantu Garamante (Fulani Futa Toro - The Moors) = 60% (2)East African Cush Nubia-Kemet (Borgu Jelgoore) = 30% (3)Indo-Aryan (Dravidian Harijan Dalits & Vandals Hanover) = 10% Our FULANI family name in local language is "Elbahi" from West Africa Mali which is historically related to the Afro Brazilian culture in Salvador Bahia Brazil. Our family is also genetically related to the Dravidian Harijan Dalits of South India and most recently the Afro Indian or Indo African culture, the Siddi/Habshi. The Bantu Garamante people follow a Matriarchy society (The Khemit School of Ancient Dravidian Mysticism). Matriarchy is a social system in which the older females (Kandaka) hold the primary power positions in roles of political leadership, moral authority, social privilege and control of property (similar to the Dogon people who are an ethnic group indigenous to the central plateau region of Mali, and are the descendant from ancestors who built the Pyramids and the keeper of the Egyptian Hieroglyphs language decipher code). Please watch "Pyramid Code" by Dr Carmen Boulter and Stephen Mehler 1)Pyramid Code The Complete Series // Ep 1 The Band of Peace kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJrVm4yLocmAnK8 2)Pyramid Code The Complete Series // Ep 2 High Level Technology kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3m1hnmMpNGIac0 3)Pyramid Code The Complete Series // Ep 3 Sacred Cosmology kzbin.info/www/bejne/mp_YiYKuhtt5bqc 4)Pyramid Code The Complete Series // Ep 4 The Empowered Human kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioXIlqlofJh3arc 5)Pyramid Code The Complete Series // Ep 5 A New Chronology kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHWYp6Ode8h1nKs Kandaka” means queen of the old Cush Nubian Kemet civilization. It was used as an all-encompassing name for a revolutionary woman and became the name for the women who returned for the massive protests in Sudan earlier in year 2018/2019. The Garamante people (The Moors or Berber consist of: Amazigh, Tuareg, Fulani and Hausa): were an ancient prehistorical civilization based primarily in present day Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Sudan, Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central Africa, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, The Gambia and Senegal. They most likely descended from Iron Age Berber tribes from the Great Sahara desert. They are known by locals as "The Camels" Tuareg herders and "The Cows" Fulani Herders. Kindly please watch the latest discovery dated 28-Oct-2016 by Prof Charles Bonnet (London lecture). This new findings have linked all Sub Saharan Sudan Cush Nubia-Kemet and Mali Ghana Bantu Garamante cultures together as one prehistorical civilization located in the Great Sahara desert, that stretched from the Atlantic to the Red sea. This prehistorical empire had two capitals, the east capital in Sudan was called Kerma / Dukki Gel and the west capital in Mali was called Timbuktu / Gao. The Origin Of Nubia.Discovery of Capital and an African City (Kerma/Dukki Gel) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWrNoHZ3ocqNpcU This new findings contradict what the main stream Western academia has been telling us for the last 100 years? Kindly please watch this famous personality (of Bantu Garamante origin), who was challenging the American narrative in 1807 … Omar ibn Said (Arabic: عمر بن سعيد‎ ʿUmar bin Saʿīd; 1770-1864) was a slave born in what is now Senegal in West Africa, who was enslaved and transported to the United States in 1807. There, while enslaved for the remainder of his life, he wrote a series of works of history and theology, including a posthumously famous autobiography. This video just came across my fb feed. Funny enough I was recently looking for the meaning of my middle name. Today was the day to find out-- my middle name is Jenné. My mom had no idea it was the name of an ancient African city.

Izon, Dogon and perhaps Serer are brothers. Degema Rivers State was called Dogon Province. Many of our groups migrated from. the Nile Valley, on the route through Lake Chad so much assimilation must have taken place. Still if we look closely we will recognize each each other. Good job!

You make great films. Are the beads locally made or imported? Could you make a films on written languages in Africa - Geez, Tamacheck, Moroe, etc? Films on masks and taboos? Amazing that anywhere oil is discovered conflict errupts and the UN and Europeans have to move in and keep the peace? I'm very interested, a White African in the South.

They need to maintain their own sacred traditions, and worship their own Gods and their own Ancestors. I am a European and even my own country was taken over by Christianity and its negative influence brought about the deadliest wars that mankind has ever seen. That's why I no longer believe in Christianity, and have started studying my own native pagan religion, which is linked to all the other ancient religions. We can all learn a lot from the traditional people of Mali and especially the Dogon, because they've maintained continuity uninterrupted by recent fads like Islam and Christianity.

West Sahel is a treasure of history, beautiful people & art!!! My favorite region of all the African continent since I was very young. Especially Niger & Mali are the best countries to meet the authentic sudano-sahelian Africa. But I didn't knew that the Great Mosque of Djenne was such a so new building. I thought all that time, it was a medieval or a between 1400's and 1700's building. Also I have read in Greek the history of the Dogon, they are great people & maybe their ancestors had connections to the named "Greek Gods". They described them as beautiful extraterrestrials on star-ships!!! As about their knowledge of the universe & especially the Sirius star system... it's amazing. How can they know so many things about that star system??? I read that some of the Dogon are believing that they are coming from that star system. But as we know, the Sirius star system is just a binary system of 2 very hot stars, not a planetary system.

Yes, nomadic cultures always destroyed urban cultures... nomadic life style and beliefs were considered superior and closer to the original/primordial way of things.
