Unfortunatly the video is terrible on Action 5 because of forced HDR-plastic look. Action 4 and Gopro 11-12-13 have better and more natural colors and overall look. If they fix it in firmware and give us an option to remove this HDR processing it will be the best Action camera on the market.

I personally didn’t mind the look of the shots on the 5 but I also wasn’t looking too closely. I’d hope that they eventually get to a place where everything is an option you can turn on

I love my Osmo Action 5, I always shoot in D-log and it’s phenomenal so far especially with the wireless mic 2

I think you can shoot in dlog m & later apply the readymade lut. To get an action 4 type look.

4K 60 Rockysteady, auto white balance and then for the exposure I try to stay between -1 and 0

i do have a question tho. i film my youtube videos in 1080p 60fps. dont want to film in more than that because of file size. can you film in 1080p 60fps on the action 5 pro?
