In this video, I am unboxing the new DJI Air 2S. I go over everything that comes in the fly more combo and run through the steps of activating and updating the firmware. The DJI Air 2S has some pretty substantial upgrades such as a 1" sensor, new upward-facing sensors, Ocusync 3.0, and now the ability to record in 5.4K. Stay tuned for more videos and tutorials soon.

I definitely is. With DJI, it is everything is very simple and no different from a 15 dollar toy but you will feel a lot more confident when you fly. You know things will probably not go wrong. Have fun flying!

With all the videos I have watched and the laws by the FAA,i regret buying this drone as a hobbyist Newbie drone owner. It seems like one can buy a drone but can't fly it anywhere because of all the laws out there making it close to impossible for people like me to fly anywhere. Gutted! 😥

@@lakadayzikal I live in one of the most populated metropolitan cities in the US, and I practically fly it anywhere I want provided I carry the Part 107 commercial license. I got approval today from LANCC and flew it around my house. Headed next week with family to a national park to give it a whirl. Get your license.

I got my new air 2s from the past 5 months. It's an excellent drone. But in high winds, I sometimes couldn't achieve smooth flights. So my favorite remained the Air 3. It's literally a compact drone for me. But for some people, I already know that they have different opinions. Some people might say that the Air 2S is much better, but for me, I could confidently say that the 3x medium telephoto camera from the air 3 is much more fun to play with.

I'll be curious if it's possible to take the camera unit off one of these and hook it up to the original Air 2. The underbelly and gimbal looks identical. I'll have to wait for a broken one to show up on eBay lol.

Just got mine out of the box and charging the batteries and remote and wondering what the time frame is for all the batteries 🔋 and the controller and if the the lights will Just stop flashing when they are fully charged cause the quick setup guide is not very informative??

Hi, the fan noise you had there while setting up. Mine got worse and bottom bit heated up a bit as well. All updated, battery charged and end of the day fan still go ballistic. Wonder if its normal with Air2s, would appreciate a reply if its happening to other user.

As of 12/12/21, I purchased the Fly More combo and to my surprise inside the box was the brand new RC Pro controller. It was advertised in coming with that remote controller but On the box, it says the DJI Smart Controller is inside and I even called the place I ordered it from stating they are advertising one thing but not seeing it. They advised me to open the box to be sure and sure enough the controller is the brand new RC Pro. That’s a heck of a deal when you consider the price of just the remote is close to the base price of the Air 2S.

I’m having a hard time deciding on which drone to get. I would say I’m an beginner and I haven’t owned/used any drone. I plan to use it for cinematography especially. Take a look at the new Mini, it's got most of the features, even if a little cut down, but it's much cheaper. If you're new, you will crash your drone, it will happen.

A lot of features have limitation in Air2s. Less Flight time, see props in 5.4k limitation ISO in Dlog, limitation of Zoom and Transmission Display lag, focus problem and more...

Look for the props during your first flight. I think, except for Ocusync 3 and a little better camera, the Air 2 is just as good. Not worth an upgrade.

And there is ~$400 diff between the two if purchase the Fly More Combo and factor in DJI Care Refresh and taxes. ~$1500 vs ~$1,100. Unless you NEED the improved camera...I think it's not worth the upgrade. The MA2 is a much better value overall.

@@platano3000x you definitely need to license your drone with the FAA. IT'S EASY. Now as for a commercial 107 license. You only need that if you plan on selling your videos or making money with you drone videos.

@@platano3000x any drone over 250 grams has to be registered with faa. Even if you are a hobby pilot. I don't know what fines or if they will take away your drone. If you get caught without a registration number on your drone.
