We completely understand your concern. DJI Air 3 uses the commonly available USB-C port for charging. You can directly use chargers with this type of port, such as those used for Android devices or Mac. Please rest assured that it will not damage your battery. We have also taken into consideration that including a charger in the package would increase the overall price of the product. In order to provide you with more flexibility in choosing, we have decided not to include a charger in the package. Thank you for your understanding.

@@DJITutorials thats not true. you are the one that builds the batteries and you are the one that must ensure the correct charging. there are TONS of chargers out there with different specs, voltages , protocols and so on. and now i have to buy one to not potentially damage batteries or reduce their life but also to be able to charge it some how fast and not wait 20 hours. because that what i get with my phone or computer charger. you have been including chargers and maintaining prices competitive forever. there is no need to change it now. also the ND filters not included. your drones are not like a camera lens that i buy a ND and i can use it for any of my cameras. for each drone that i have i must have different NDs . 100 usd for propriety small ND ( camera NDs cost you half of that price). 76 USD for a 65 W charger that charges ONE device. anker is 40 USD with 3 ports. i have an AVATA , a mavic air, mavic pro and a ronin 3 pro i have dozens of cables around each drone and each device with the charger. i want to be able at least to charge all my devices simultaneously for the next shooting. dirty move from DJI putting overprices on their propriety stuff so they can grab a bit more of our money. i love DJI and been supporting with you and your products. dont be like other brands around.

This charging hub is huge and not very convenient for travel, but at least it's very smart. Accumulating Power is a great solution and option when you're on the go and also uses USB-C so it will be great to charge batteries in the car, no need for additional expensive accessories for charging in the car like I need for my Air 2S. My only wish is to be able to charge all the batteries simultaneously. I very often fly at one spot, then have 3 batteries at 20-40%, then drive for an hour to another place and at the other place in the best case scenario I have one full battery.

This kinda sucks because it doesn’t come with a power supply, so when you’ll have NO way to charge your batteries unless you buy a power supply. You would think after spending over $1000 it would come with a power supply.

@@vdacevedvdaceved6460 I found a solution. Baseus USB 100 W amplifier for charging has multiple ports. When I plug the charger into it it charges them in a couple of hours each. It seems to work great. It was about $65. I think on Amazon.

It took about three or four days to charge the three batteries. I think DJI should really come up with a solution for this problem. I did find one but it’s about 100 bucks.

How do you power this with a power bank? I have 4 different power banks that can all do 65W out. I use a good Club3d 240W USB C cable. No matter what, the hub tries to charge the power bank. Even if the power bank is already full. Is there any way to disable the Hub from being a power bank? It would be amazing to power this using a power bank for on the go charging. It seems to me this isn't obeying USB PD specifications in some way. If DJI fixes it, can the firmware in the hub be updated?

This charge hub seems to have an issue... Three times since I purchased and started using it (only 2 weeks old) its stopped charigng a battery at 50%, and stayed in that state the entire time... Multiple slots, and multiple batteries, this has occured.... Is this a firmware issue? Or js this thing defective?

I absolutely love my Air 3 and Avata 2! However an issue I’ve run into is neither of the charging hubs will charge from the high power Anker USB-C power bank that I bring with me. It always ends up pulling from the drone batteries to charge the power bank. Is there a way to disable the option or force it to charge instead? I’ve tried numerous cables and it always appears to charge the drone battery for a moment, before switching over to charging the power bank. This is the only device is run into it with, so I’m think the issue is one the charging hub side. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I can slow charge the hubs from that same bank using the USB type A ports, but it’s super slow.

Hi there. The DJI Air 3 battery comes with an auto-discharging function. However, the user cannot set when the auto discharge will begin. Battery auto-discharging protection: To prevent swelling, the battery automatically discharges to 96% of the battery level when it is idle for 3 days, and automatically discharges to 60% of the battery level when it is idle for 9 days. (It is normal to feel moderate heat being emitted from the battery during the discharging process.) Hope this is informative for you.

Hello, there. May we know if your charger is bought from DJI Store? If using a third-party charger, it is recommended to use a 100W fast charger that supports PD3.0/PPS protocol.

Hello, there. If you connect the aircraft to a charger with a Type-C cable for battery charging. Approximately 80 minutes when charging with the DJI 65W Portable Charger. Note: The maximum charging power is 65W when connecting the aircraft to the portable charger for charging.

Use the recommended DJI charger? Then they should include this in the system. Since they don't, most will use what they already have at home.

When charging the battery with the battery mounted on the DJI Air 3 aircraft, if using a third-party charger, it is recommended to use a 65W fast charger that supports PD3.0 protocol. 2. When charging the battery using the DJI Air 3 battery charging hub, if using a third-party charger, it is recommended to use a 100W fast charger that supports PD3.0/PPS protocol. 3. If you are using a car charger, make ensure that the charger meets the corresponding protocol requirements.

It won’t charge the batteries. When I press power the light go into idle yellow. If I press the button a little longer it turns pulsating green but as soon as I let go of the button it’s yellow and the turns off. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, there. You can store the batteries in the battery charging hub but please make sure it is charged when it needs power supply. Please do not keep the batteries in charge all the time and check the battery power regularly.

I ordered an updated charging block that supports PD3.0, but I really wish they had made the charging specifications more prominent in their advertisements so I could have bought an upgraded power block beforehand. It's not a huge deal financially, but it's extremely inconvenient.

Using a proper charger (Anker 747 middle port), it is now charging all 3 in sequence at a relatively fast speed. With a normal USB-C charger, I left it overnight and it hadn't finished even the first battery. So the charger is super important and sold out on DJI website. Anker 747 does work anyway.

I unboxed my Air 3 yesterday. The recommended charger didn't come with the Fly More kit, so I've been using what I have; my phone charger. I put the battery bank on to charge about 7 PM yesterday. When I left the house 12 hours later, the first battery wasn't charged yet. At this rate it will take days to charge all 3. And then after that I can charge my controller; I should be able to use my drone about three days after I opened it. That's without the recommended charger, but they're out of stock. The recommended charger is supposed to take about five hours to fully charge. Not having the recommended charger included in the Fly More kit is a war crime.

The hub should have a built in battery where you can charge the drone battery on the go like the dji mic setup. A miss opportunity there.

On September 22, my drone DJI Air 3 crashed due to a system glitch. but I'm still waiting for the test result to confirm that this is a warranty issue. support no longer responds to email within 10 days! In the online chat, support refuses to help and cannot provide any information so that they can respond to my letter, citing the fact that I am from Ukraine. but I have repeatedly explained that I bought the drone in Germany, the accident was in the Dominican Republic, I am now in the Dominican Republic, I will send it to Germany for warranty repairs. the operator understands this, but still refuses to help.

Buy a 100w charging block and a couple 100w USB-C cables. It will charge all 3 batteries in a few hours rather than charge 2 overnight. The fact a 100w charger isn’t included in the fly mode kit is insane and a massive misstep by DJI.

Picked this DJI AIR 3 up today for $2000 and totally worthless. The batteries will not charge. Those worthless non English speaking techs at DJI Refresh don't know anything. Also, those worthless techs at BestBuy won't even give you the time of day. I'm totally done with drones. I've had enough of troubleshooting and no help..

I wish DJI could add some form of alarm that the drone can produce during emergency landings. A loud noise that can warn people who could be in the area of landing. I also wish DJI could add some form of emergency landing sensors that find the most suitable surface for landing to reduce damage caused by trees, rocks etc.. sometimes just a few centimetres could save the drone during emergency landings.
