Batteries charged in the drone first? I never only in the hub, but when updating firmware used every battery then, everything fine?

That's good, could have changed. When I got the Air 3 they needed activating due to shipping according to DJI support. Glad your sorted.

Cheers bud. Well if you saw my previous video I was ready to bin it. But now I've sorted the connection issue I'm loving it. Air 3 was brill but I like the slightly more advanced features. Fun but great for professional, commercial jobs. You've got that long lens so even though you can't fly so close in this category you can punch in with the 70mm lens. Still nervous in tight spots, I prefer the Neo cos it bounces 😅

Great informative video- thanks. Waiting for delivery of the 3S later this week- long time drone flyer/builder etc. Curious as to your audio setup- it looks like you have a DJI receiver for mic2 plugged directly into your controller- does that record an audio track directly to the recorded video on the SD card in the drone? Or just on to the footage from the controller?

Thank you. Yes, it records on to the screen recording of the RC. Then you can do a visual sync to drone footage or audio sync to your camera.

Which light meter are you using when figuring out which ND Lens to use?

So the 3S manual does not say anything about having to charge all batteries in the drone first. It has a section saying you can just charge the extra batteries in the battery charger?

That should work OK. If it doesn't then they need activating by charging them in the drone. I've had that issue and it's to do with shipping and storage.

I've never heard that the batteries needed to be charged in the drone to activate them. I've always charged thenm in the battery holder.

If you can then great. Sometimes I've had it, as in Air 3, and they needed activating first. I think it depends on where they're shipped from.
