Nice one! On the previous video, my kiddos were rooting for you to fly up the slide tube. Seems like that would be unforgivingly tight, though. Just a suggestion.

One thing I’ve noticed is that since I’ve been flying my Avata 2 is the SLOWING DOWN…It doesn’t all doesn’t have to be hauling a$$ through marvelous sceneries! Perhaps like with this video, about half the speed, to appreciate the great scenes… Other that the speed, great places to fly that I currently don’t have. Great music choices! Nice job though. Slow down a little.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll try mixing in different speeds. You’ve got to admit, it’s fun to go fast.

Nice! Love following your journey on here! I have about 30 hours in sim but nowhere near your level 😅

Thanks for following! You’ve got to have some skill with 30 hours in the sim. How much time have you spent flying outdoors?

Thank you for the replies … I think that was my problem. Spent way too much time on sim before taking the drone out … was in for a rude awakening when I took my avata 2 out 😂 … trying to take it out more often … having hard time flying smoothly low to the ground like your most recent video

@@SPChon, if you haven’t already, fine tune the settings for the controller under the Gain & Expo option in the headset. I’ve gradually made them more aggressive after tuning them down and at a good point.

Hey there, I am having the same problem that it is much tougher flying slow then fast wit the Avata 2. Would love to see your controller when you are flying. Whenever you have the opportunity to film that. Keep it up!

I was planning to add the controller view to an upcoming video. I fly it way more than the videos posted and have gotten much better at slow and controlled flight, even with a 22% camera angle. Throttle control really comes into play with very small adjustments. I’ll get a video up about the topic for sure. Really appreciate the thoughts and feedback.

@@VantagePointImages That would be awesome bro! Just bought it like 3 weeks ago and slowly getting the hang of it now!

Simply said lower your camera angle, the lower it is the slower you go, (don’t go under 5 tho). However even with a low camera angle new people to the hobby always pick up a lot of unnecessary speed, to avoid that one must learn to use the pitch together with the throttle a lot more. A lot of people use way to much throttle when they for instance try to gain altitude, instead you should adjust the pitch to gain that height and then you don’t throttle as much, hence you don’t gain too much speed. The important thing is to learn how to work more complex together with the throttle and the pitch. From what I’ve seen most new to the hobby seem to think that going slow is easier than fast, and no, that’s definitely not the case. Going slow is severely harder and requires way more practice, complex and precise controll inputs.
