when the drone loses its signal, shouldn't it stop and go into hovering or return to home?

Yes it should and it has lots of times for, but it does take a second or two to engage. My last input was full throttle and down.. Ooops

Do you know why it lost signal? Were you too far or behind an obstacle?

Hi, Bit of both I think. I was behind trees and the land was a lot lower than I was.

@@camperanddroneguy i'm thinking of getting one, could you please clarify how far "far" was? Cause i want to buy one and get some shots in fjords etc. and I don't want to be taking risks, thanks!

@@SP-bq4mi Hi. That's such a hard question to answer and depends on where you live too due to the signal strength output you will get. But I can sometimes be 100 meters away, behind trees and lose signal, sometimes I can get 500 meters away in a similar location. Diving between mountains is always going to test the signal strength as I lost my Avata when in Ben Nevis. It all comes down to experience and learning from your mistakes and knowing how far you can push it. Get one - They are great and have the features that will minimise your failures, RTH etc. You'll crash, I can guarantee it. But that's part of the fun in the experience. Risks... Yep... There's lots
