Hey Dustin, will any 65 watt wall charger work to conduct a faster charge than the USB cables? Just completed your excellent video that also answered my question. Thanks for a great job on the Avata 2 video.

Thanks. As mentioned in the video, my phone's 80-100w charger would not charge the drone batteries at a faster rate but it did the goggles. Phone chargers have varying compatibility I guess 🍻

Hey, just unboxed, updated, and charged up all the devices….WOW! The excitement’s off the scale! After all done, in my office, did my first power up motor start, and yes, a short takeoff raised it 2 feet, tried rotation, camera up/down, then land! Personally it’s quieter/lower pitched than my Hover 1, and so close to my Mini 3 and 4 Pro’s sounds! Rock steady smooth and stable hovers compared to the minis’, Go figure! Love it already. Back soon. Thanks a ton!

I like that picture in picture allowing you to see the outside world while flying. Is always nerve wracking wondering if someone is walking around you while flying FPV

There is an option in settings to change to left handed but I'm not sure about the hardware feel 🍻

Thanks for the great vid! I was too excited and ordered mine on the 11th. The reason there is no eye lens cover is they want you to lay the battery over the eye port.

Love your review, thinking about buying one of these. The only thing I see that I wondered about, why no legs to keep the craft off the ground. I broke a cheep drone by landing on some twigs and messed up the prop motors. Too cheep to fix.

Oh what a great post! Also, have a silver inked Sharpie that I used to NUMBER (or letter if you prefer) my batteries (1,2,3 etc.) so I can better keep track of of the cycles/usages of my batteries to balance out the life. Since I have no idea when they’re worn and done, nothing’s posted on that yet. Got anything on battery life? Love your dissertation, always so informative! AND your Ariel, and excited expressions make a great difference! Thanks x1,000

Charging while updating! I was able to charge the Avata, and Motion all while powered for updates from the googles. Not that you would want to, was even able to do a motor start, (and possibly a takeoff) while still plugged in. Potential for basic training of sorts. Who knew!

Hey, Since the Avata 2 is Ocusync 4 I don't think other gens will work for now. Perhaps with update. DJI says the DJI fpv 3 controller works 🍻

my only one question - did they add option to disable this annoying height limiter? not that limiter that is 500m. Im about limiter that dont allow you to go lower than 30 cm and at all - avata slows down its descending when flyes lower than 5 meters above anything.

It's still a bit slower with the motion controller but there is an option to disable GPS that may help🍻

If your iPhone charge cable has a USBC (small oval) on the wall charge end, just plug directly into goggles. If it's a larger USBA (older rectangle), plug it into that short dongle included with goggles then plug other end into goggles 🍻

Did you get the foam insert for the googles or are you wearing it without like me? It was to be included with what’s in the box and they have since changed the website

The head spacer? Was in the box as seen. I don't use it as my eyes are far enough from lenses. I think it's mainly for custom corrective lenses or a unique face shape 🍻
