The best range test by far.

I just got my mini 4. My first REAL drone. Says 20km on the box. That is like 12 miles. At first I was thinking how a limit of 5 or 6 miles out is kind of a rip off because of the range it claims to have. But I guess you have to factor in the trip back (in this video) too which is getting close to 10-11 miles. So this thing did pretty good actually. I love mine I am not willing to go that far with it. Thanks for doing that for us though!

Did you end up finding the drone?

Although i do like dji, i do prefer holystone over dji. You get extremely similar results for a cheaper price. Might not get any obstacle avoidance but for 300 dollars i definitely get 4k 30fps

Hey Dustin, Couple years back you did the 4lte cell modem mod on the Parrot. I was hoping you could help me do something similar on a DJI Mavic 2 Pro? Something along the lines of removing the antennas on the DJI Controller and DJI Drone. Then directly connect 5g modems to the SMA Antenna Connectors on the controller and drone... Im still pissed at dji for screwing me out of tens of thousands of dollars. I have part 107 cert. Still havent found anyone that has hacked dji software so its possible to add modem. Anyway to contact you, hire for brain storming? Thanks

Dude, a MILE! I love mine so far, just got it yesterday. First drone and I can't express enough how easy it is to control for a first timer. I don't know what to compare it to but I am extremely impressed with all of the options and tech with this drone. Its great. Yesterday, I went out back about a quarter mile. Easy, no issue. Tonight I did the same, saw some deer feeding and it lost signal suddenly. Not sure why, could have been a random connection thing. But other than that, its been beyond great.

For everyone. 20 mph is 3 minutes per mile. For quick estimates 2 miles out--- you need minimum of 6 minutes to get back. So start picking a spot to land. Makes it easier to find the drone to sit down early.

the height indicator is such a massive problem. you should always know how far you are from the ground under the aircraft. it says 5ft when you're like 200ft. dji needs to fix this

I got this truck it takes a beating I tore out the trany got a new one real easy to fix def worth the money highly recommended and I got the one with oil filed shocks and better remote just an asome truck

I enjoy how thorough and easy to follow your unboxing and setting up the drone video is! I have the original X8 2020 and it is a good learning drone for me....thinking about this one as a bit more advanced, but still in a price range that is affordable for the future needs I anticipate.

It seems to me that the obstacle ovoidance while I was trying mine out that it seems as it's trying to work itself away from the obstacle albeit very slowly but I've just tried mine today and I've just noticed this... Also it doesn't have side sensors but while moving it left and having an obstacle to its left why did it move very slowly and stop? Did it see before without me knowing.. That was weird to me.. But bringing it close to myself it was slowly rising until it cleared.. It's not what I thought it was capable of and Ive only ever had one drone with obstacle avoidance the autel mini plus.. The props on this are great and will be an asset on the v2 model as there thicker and stronger...!!
