And great to hear from you too! Thanks for all the support and kind words. Iv been away actually. Just letting life happen as im juggling other hustles like wedding cameraman and also Foodpanda work. Eventho I earn peanuts from YT, but ill keep this going as far as I can, coz it makes a HUGE impact for me, earning those peanuts from pure creative passion. Dont pay the bills tho, so I work Panda most of the time to continue doing this. BUT kinda getting distracted with RC cars. They are just much more easier to just play, versus drone flying in SG. But alls good. This channel has opportunities that iv never though possible, and will continue to work on it. Likely will have an RC channel going too, just for the side fun. Altho, the idea of making food delivery content with Foodpanda sounds fun too. ARRRGHRdiohfowhfoqiewruo! I need to earn enuf, so I can get an editor. And then just keep making content! hahhaahahah. Honestly, capturing the vids and clips is easy and fun. THE EDITING IS A DRAG! But im just a small time YTber, so cant afford to have ppl do the editing yet. Maybe in the future. Got to focus on ways to hustle in more money first. Likely will go harder on the affiliate route first. Hows it going with the Avata? Going to convert it with the Axis Flying kit? Im so tempted.......

Greetings from Singapore! Sorry I missed this, and thank you for the compliment. Im just trying to get as many pilots safely in the air and hope they be ok on their own up there. Best is if they can find FPV communities around them to expand their learning.

Hey rahim, for some odd reason when using TRYP FPV bringing in the controller made the setup strange and I ended up learning how to fly really well with the pitch inverted, do you believe that is an issue ? I’m a newcomer so I wouldn’t know if there is an real reason why I should not fly with inverted pitch! I have tried to do it normally but no matter how hard I try I just fly better with inverted
@creasedaf1s900
@creasedaf1s900 2 жыл бұрын
Also , if it is possible do you know to invert the axis on the DJI app? I’ve been seeing that it’s not possible to just inverter the pitch alone
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim 2 жыл бұрын
Its all down to personal preference, but its a short term solution in my opinion. Because eventually there will be a time along this journey that you may wanna get yourself a GPS camera drone, be it from DJI or toy grade ones, and there may not be option for the pitch inversion. So if it were me, id just relearn, since im at the start of the journey.

How do I get out of the settings? Menu controller menu tab once I come in to this menu to change my rates or adjust my remote I can't get out of the menu and less I power down the goggles and turn them back on as there is some kind of swipe up and down left or right or something I'm missing because I cannot get out of this menu and as I power down the goggle.

That has prolly been the most misunderstood setting. So if you wanna be in full control of the recording, keeping it on Manual Rec is best. Just take a bit of conscious effort to do that job.

Any tips on switching between normal and manual mode mid-flight? I want the smooth shots of normal mode then hit a quick powerloop then back to normal mode. Currently it makes you put the sticks in certain spots so it stops the flow for a second
@MiconFPV

Also would love Normal mode but without attitude limit, let me roll and flip!

Sorry man, no shortcut here. i too wanted the smooth gps camera drone shots but with the freedom of power loops and spins. But it doesnt exist. Try manual mode, but have Horizon Steady on. That way, you will have the freedom of flight, but for the most part have stabilized footage and Horizon locked.

hi bro, can i ask why does my forward and backward a.k.a (R) joystick up and joystick down is inverted in Manual mode in the flight simulator? can i make it don't invert?
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim Жыл бұрын
Sorry missed this question. Did you manage to sort it out? Is it still inverted? Just to be clear we are on the same page, in M mode pushing the (R) stick forward is going to make the drone face down, while backwards will make the drone face up. This is called pitching it forwards and backwards respectively. Is it the other way around in your sim?

Does the avata recording sound?
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim 11 ай бұрын
Sorry I missed this. Sadly, no. I usually fly the DJI FPV with sound on so that I can not only learn from hearing my throttle control, but also may use it in an episode to give abit more depth to the video. But too bad for the Avata, this is missing.

Can you reverse the pitch control in mode 2? I have spent 100 hours by now in the LiftOff simulator and I'm waiting for my Avata to arrive, but i have practiced with reversed pitch controls. Is there an option to reverse it?
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim Жыл бұрын
Sorry missed this. Thats odd, cox LiftOff would have the same Mode 2 controls, as it is universal. Did you find a solution to this?
@zedsian
@zedsian Жыл бұрын
@@TheReelRahim I reversed it back to how mode 2 is and I relearned. There was no other option. After all, it only took me a week to become good at normal pitch mode.

Maaf bro, memang tak semua phone android boleh pakai ni app. Boleh try terbalik2kan cable, ngok boleh tak. Try cable Type C lain2 jugak. Sebab mesti Type C DATA cable. Kalau masih tak boleh, mungkin phone tak sesuai ngan app.

What is your go to "SD card storage"? I saw in your settings, you're using 128GB storage. But most drone video I saw suggest to get 64GB..
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim 2 жыл бұрын
In the past, I find that "slow" cards may cause recording to stop. So nowadays I get the fastest that I could afford and that would be Sandisk Extreme or Extreme PRO. Generally, I look at it as Extreme to be adequate for 1080p and up to 100fps. But since 4k recording is becoming norm, then id go with Extreme PRO. I have the Extreme PRO in the drone, and then Extreme in the goggles. Actually 64G is fine. 2 x 64G is cheaper than a single 128 in some shops. Also, it creates the habit of archiving after every flight. I just happen to have a spare 128G as i bought it on sale.

Why does it wobble left and right so much for me?
@TheReelRahim
@TheReelRahim Жыл бұрын
Sorry I missed this. When does this wobble happen? When you are flying straight and no input from the controls? If that is the case, its just because in actual fact the avata's PIDs are not tuned that well, which means it is very susceptible to windy conditions. So to counter this, I actually rarely let the drone coast on its own. I will CONSTANTLY be giving it micro corrective inputs, coz by doing this, the drone will constantly react to my inputs, giving me full control of its flight. No inputs from the controller means the drone's PIDs will take over and may wobble naturally in flight. But also I'll be frank, to be able to fly a drone in manual mode is already an uphill climb. To fly it smoothly, will take alot of practice, which iv done so for years flying DIY drones. So no fret, i believe you will be able to do so too with practice. Just really spend more time in the air and enjoy the skies. Oh, and switch off any digital stabilisation of the camera. By doing so, you can review your raw footage and see how much you have improved in flying. Us DIY pilots used to do so with our our GoPro 3/4/5, which did not have great stabilisation. So we would switch it off, and instead fly as smooth as possible for the best footage. Hope that sharing helps. Do let me know how you are doing so far. Till then, enjoy the journey, and I'll see you in the skies!
