I tried flying the Avata to the estate last week, I also use normal mode, I'm amazed that normal mode allows me to fly so easily, I shouldn't resist normal mode, as long as it can fulfill the customer's requirements, then it is a good mode

Great video as always! If you turn off all of the EIS the Avata saves the gyro data for import into Gyroflow. Might give better results even though it does crop.

@@SeanAlami Definitely would recommend that over the other options. You'll need to shoot in wide mode with everything (rocksteady and horizon steady turned off). I think you'll get even better results. You can also turn horizon lock on and off in the software to see which you like better and the rendering is quick in my experience with Gyroflow.

@@SeanAlami You are absolutely correct Drones are fantastic for Real Estate videos. And the FPV adds a whole new dimension. I have done some simple inside fly ins with a Mavic. but never thought of ripping the inside ;O. I am still practicing in DJI FPV simulator.

I often view videos of spectacular homes for sale around the world, the best being those of Enes Yilmazer. The real “money” shots of the properties are the drone shots at the end of the videos. Turn off the horizon or rock steady and it keeps the gyro info FYI. Works great in post stabilization software

After a few flights for several Parade of Homes ('tis the season), I am figuring out that Normal mode with EIS turned off and a Normal lens profile works best for me. I am not going balls to the walls like you do in some of your listings (I am not a true FPV pilot), but I am trying to add a different look that can be combined with a traditional camera and gimbal, along with cinematic aerials.

Spot on sir! I too had doubts but the built in safety and other features, this is an amazing beast. While rocksteady stabilization sucks, but if you use gyro flow from the start it would be blown your mind!

You need to use gyro flow man! I fly through homes all the time with all stabilization off and just turn on horizon in the software. Fixes the warping. However that horizon mode inside of the drone is gooood

Great content. Did you try stabilizing Avata footage in Gyroflow? I prefer GP10 with reelsteady. I plan to get Avata but I still feel like the footage is better on GP RS. Why not slow the protek25 footage down for the client?

In order to use Gyroflow you have to turn off all stabilization for the Avata to record the gyro data to the video footage.

Sean with the mini 3 pro what fps do you normally shoot your projects on? i heard you say for the Avata you do it on 60 fps but what about for the mini 3 pro? i know some like 24 fps , personally love 30 fps but just curious on your take?

The problem ist the changing light conditions. With a normal drone you can fly in auto but let gopro in manual. Here it's impossible.

Put the DJI action 2 with horizon lock or rocksteady on top of the drone. Might work for what you where talking about towards the end. Nice video and thanks for the info.

Great VIDEO. Good information. Except, we do not film anymore. Your FPV Drone is a Digital Video camera. In order to film you need film. Digital Video and Filming require different skill sets. Movies are no longer films. And your video camera does not film. Embrace the technology you use and respect that which was used in the past.

Every video I've ever seen of "indoor" avata flying looks like shit. Only shoots in 8-bit and the banding is horrible. Shadows and low light rooms look like garbage. Maybe hard wire up a go pro that shoots in 10 bit or something and it would be amazing.
