Just saw this topic for the first time. Thanks for the info. Interesting and it kind of makes sense. Regarding the ability to gather data/facial recognition...cell phones have been doing this for years. I would say it's not just possible that they're collecting data, it's probable that DJI is collecting data. Regarding the ban...if congress can get access to the data they probably won't ban DJI. If DJI refuses to give them the data, or access, that's when you'll see a ban. Possible opportunity for a small company to build modular drone that comes with proof that they don't collect data.

Many of us were concerned from the start but it takes forever to get the federal guv't & politicians to act. We simply need to ban all OEM Chi Knees stuff because it aids their Mill Tary.
