FPV controller 3 has to be used in conjuction with the Goggles 3 or N3 to work - but short answer is yes, I fly all my quads like that atm.

Yes, if you're in o3 mode all your o3 quads will remain bound. If you switch to the Avata 2 or other drones then you'll need to bind to them again. Likewise, if you switch to o3 mode again you'll need to bind to a o3 quad again. All your o3 quads will then still work again. So to be clear you only have to bind to one o3 unit again and all your other o3s will be bound too.

I'm afraid to update my Goggles 3. The pairing process with my integra and M3P was so difficult and then my M3P and RC controller never worked well after that update. Additionally, the binding process is ridiculous. I will give this update some time to make its way through the reviews before updating the goggles 3.

Recent updates have made the bind process very easy and much simpler. In the video I mention that when the goggles finds a "bind" then it will automatically promt in the goggles to switch to the required mode. So its much simpler than it used to be.

When you switch modes you unlike the current "system", be that Avata 2, mini 4 pro, Air 3 or O3. So you'll need to do the bind process agian to reinitiate that control link yes. And yes... every time. In the video I mention that when the goggles finds a "bind" then it will automatically promt in the goggles to switch to the required mode.

thanks for the video. I fly the 03 air unit and updated the firmware for both it and the Goggles 3 as you've show. that worked fine and I was able to pair and view video. However, I have the Remote Controller 2 as I do not use Express LRS and there is no firmware update for the Remote Controller 2 at this point and maybe never will be one. I don't think there is any way to make the Remote Controller 2 compatible at this point, so either fly Remote Controller 2 and Goggles 2 (or Integra) OR use Remote Controller 3 and Goggles 3 and update firmware on those plus the 03 air unit. Appears there is no middle ground. Question is if I migrate to the Goggles 3 and Remote 3, are they essentially downgraded to the 03 protocols, or is my 03 Air Unit upgraded to the 04 transmission protocols which would be a very good thing?

I wish dji pushed the update some everything would just work, however... they pushing sales I guess. Atlease the naming conventions now makes sense agian. Goggles 3, Controller 3, Motion controller 3, dji o3 air unit lol I think the goggles 2 is actually a great place to be right now since it currently supports everything. To answer you question, the goggles 3 will use the transmission system that was built for the item they connect to. So bassically, if you connect to o3 you'll be using the o3 tech and if you connect to avata 2 you'll be using o4 tech. The updates wont change the protocol being used. But please rest assured, there is very little difference between o3 and o4 - that extra 10mb/s is also like going from a 4k tv to a 4k uhd tv - some people might not even notice.

Example: your hyperlapse go 2 video. Show 10 seconds and then switch to you taking and setting that up. The proces ND settings and end with a non hyperlapse recording of what you did to achieve the hyperlapse. I would definitely watch that 💪

I have the consumer drone series on. I'm signed in. I turned on the goggles 3 (same thing happens with the 03 air unit) I plug the goggles into the computer. The goggles 3 icon shows up. I click that. My email shows up and wants me to confirm so I click that. Immediately I get an ACTIVATION FAILED with a big red x and it wants me to retry. So I do., And it does the same stupid $#!+. Can someone please help me before I just send it back? I cant connect it to my phone app either. My phone doesnt have the right connector

Have you tried using a different oc? Sometimes that does the trick. If that does not, have you tried activation via the fly app on your phone?

@@InfinityDrones I couldnt connect to iphone because it doesnt have a usbc input. I did spend a couple hours with DJI on chat, and they think that the goggles3 and the 03 air unit were defective. They sent me a shipping label and I just left the UPS store. I cant say enough for their excellect customer service. Thanks for replying, I'm new at this and the learning curve is something else. It really helps. I subbed to your channel.
