DJI Inspire 2 Vs Mavic 3 Pro | Which drone is right for you?

Hello Lucizen Fam!
Today we are going to be comparing the Legendary DJI Inspire 2 vs The newest Mavic 3 Pro.
We will be going to a variety of locations to put these two drones to the test and there will be plenty of comparison footage between each drone. I will be going over all of their key features as well as my honest thoughts as a professional drone pilot as to what the true differences are between these two vastly different platforms.

Based on other reviews, it appears that the Inspire 2 is approximately 8 years old, which could lead to challenges in sourcing parts that are no longer readily available and may fetch high prices on platforms like eBay. Additionally, there are reliability issues with batteries. While its quality remains excellent, the age factor gives me pause in choosing it over the Mavic 3 Pro. Opting for the Inspire 3 might be the wiser choice, albeit it comes with a hefty price tag. They’re both good! I haven’t tried the air 3 yet but the tech in Mavic 3 pro is very very good. Has a larger sensor so better for low light and you got an extra lens too. Also it looks super dope

I’m about the buy the inspire 2! Is it worth it? I3 is way too expensive for the production company I’m starting

the inspire 2 is pretty good but tbh its getting pretty dated at this point. Unless you really want to do dual operator and really care about the inspire 2 codecs such as CinemaDNG etc.. I would reccomend the Mavic 3 Pro if you are starting a new production company. The m3p will be great for adding that extra drone flair for your videos.

Great dialogue! I have been flying the Mavic 3 Pro for about a month and still have a lot to learn. I also plan to grab an Inspire 2 as the prices are coming down since the launch of the Inspire 3. This is a great time for technology in this area for the sUAS pilot with DJI drones leading the way. I only hope that politics will keep it's ugly face out of the arena.

Nice comparison. I own inspire 2, and there are many issue and I feel this drone overpriced since the launch moment... For example many footage are out of focus and every time you have to focus manually, stability isn't good too, only 2 obstacle sensor, low wind resistence and so on... Thank you for this video

What settings do you typically use for the mavic 3 as far as aperture and everything else?

for lowlight stuff i would defintely recommend going to f2.8 so you can let in as much light as possible. I usually shoot in 4k 24 normal picture profile and i just adjust my ISO to how it looks like on the monitor. I would always try to keep the ISO as low as possible to avoid introducing noise and grain for the image. Since i shoot at 24 fps I keep my shutter at 1/50. Pretty textbook stuff.

Hopefully, different settings to the over-exposed settings used on the camera for the main recording. Learning not to stand with the sun behind you is one of those rules that you soon figure out 😊

Mavic 3 pro over the inspire 2 anyday. Inspire 2 had its day and now it's outdated. then there's the Inspire 3 if you want to invest over 30k for it including the necessary accessories and batteries

5.1K ProRes HQ @ 48 fps from the Mavic 3 Pro Cine is a dream, at this point with three cameras and all the updates the Mavic platform is getting there's no reason to go Inspire.

mavic 3 is a great platform, however there are still many reasons to upgrade to the inspire platform: clients will take you more seriously and you can work on more professional projects like more commercials and narrative film work. You can unlock so many shots with the dual operator platform on the inspire series and lastly the lowlight is incredible on the inspire platform, the mavic series can get very noisy in lowlight conditions. stay tuned for my new video where I compare the inspire drone to mavic drone coming up.
