Update on the loss of image transmission signal. I flew the drone after doing the refresh on the most current firmware, no change, get to an altitude of about 30 feet and my screen goes B&W and audio message that drone has disconnected from controller. I can still control the drone with the remote and keeping a visual on the drone, brought it back down. Downgraded the FW to the previous version, launched from the same spot, climbed to 300 feet with no error messages. My conclusion, faulty FW. Would like to know if there are more Mavic 2 Pro's out there with the same issue. Makes me wonder why this FW has issues with my hardware!? For the time being all is good. Bob

followed the video, until the desktop app does not connect to controller, after powering on the remote! What now??

I have a Mavic 2 Pro and I'm getting the error message, Image transmission signal weak, adjust antennas on remote. I'm not positioning the antennas any different than I have been all along and I'm not flying any where I haven't flown before. I just finished refreshing the FW on the drone and the controller but now it's dark outside. As soon as I have time I'll do a test flight. If the problem persists I think I'll downgrade both the drone and the controller to the previous FW and test again. Thoughts. Bob

If this is a location where you flew before upgrade without signal issues and after upgrade you have issues, sure consider reverting. But first fly again at same location and distance and see if same issue happens. If it does then revert firmware and see if it goes away. Also this issue could have nothing to do with firmware. There could be strong WiFi or cellular signals interfering with transmission, it could be drone behind buildings or trees degrading transmission. In residential areas with lots of WiFi you can have connection issues at very short distances if flying at lower elevations. If flying in the country with little to no WiFi and less cellular towers nearby typically the range increases far more than in the city. So maybe this is not firmware issue but interference issue, which just started happening coincidentally after firmware upgrade making you think issue is firmware.

I will try to isolate the issue. As for conditions here, there is a cell tower a couple of blocks behind me, has been there all along. I have wifi in the house as well as outside and that hasn't changed either. I wish I could find some diagnostic tools for DJI!! Like what they use at DJI.

Hi, I have my old reliable Mavic 2 Pro for 4 yers now. I just recently encountered an issue after installing the v01.00.0790 firmware. I have a total disconnect issue. Also I want to ask if you know any idea to get my RC1A detected in DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic?

Hey, I just discovered I am having an issue with RC1A not connecting to the Assistant. Have you ever found a solution?
@MarcusGlass9 ай бұрын
@patsysheldon1294 I just checked and my RC1A which came with Mavic 2 connects to PC and DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic software without any issue. 1. Launch DJI Assistant For Mavic 2. 2. Power on RC1A. 3. connect one end of usb cable to side of RC1A (the port by left joystick.) 4. Power on RC1A. 5. Connect other end of USB cable to PC. 6. In DJI Assistant for Mavic, select Mavic 2 Controller when detected. 5 versions of software are listed with current being V01.00.9770 from 2021-04-09

Hello i connect mu RC on pc with micro USB to USB câble but the remot controller IS not detected

Hello, I have two identical controllers, model RC1B. One is seen by DJI assistant as "mavic2 controller", the other is seen by DJI assistant as "mavic2 enterprise RC" For each of the two, DJI assistant offers different firmwares and the one that is seen as "mavic2 enterprise RC" does not work correctly with my Mavic 2 Pro. How can I reconvert the controller that is seen as "mavic 2 enterprise RC" so that it will be seen as "mavic 2 controller" and so that I can install the right firmware on it to get it working correctly with my Mavic 2 Pro ❓❓❓

In this thread it reflects DJI support told someone with same issue there is no way o make the RC1B intended for Mavic 2 Enterprise to function with consumer Mavic 2: forum.dji.com/thread-267381-1-1.html You could attempt to contact DJI support and confirm.

@@MarcusGlass so, if I would have a second RC to use with my Mavic2, It seems that I must sell the Enterprise One and buy another "simple" Mavic 2 RC.....

DGI?
@MarcusGlass2 жыл бұрын
I know. When I say DJI or say DGI they come out sounding the same. Challenge for you. Say DGI, DJI, DGI, DJI, DGI, DJI super fast. Do they end up sounding pretty much the same when you say them? For me they do. Maybe it is regional accent issue? The only way for me to make J sound like Jay rather then Gah, is to speak really slowly and intentionally say Jayyyyy.

@@MarcusGlass haha 90 percent of people on KZbin say DGI. I’m making it my mission to call them all out 😂
