Yahoo, DJI finally put a mechanical shutter on another drone besides the Phantom 4. I’m happy to see these two models that are available. For mapping, the Phantom mechanical shutter was the best in the field. I’ve always wanted a drone with a mechanical shutter. What’s really funny I picked up a Phantom 4 V2 Pro (fly more package w/ backpack and extras) with less than twelve hours of flight time for $1400 just days before the Enterprise was released. These new Mavic 3 enterprise drones from DJI have some very impressive features. And very well priced compared to others in the market. The only con for me is the Terra software is Windows only, just like you I'm a Mac guy. Great review Aldryn.

One thing that unnerves me about the ME 3 is how DJI seems to be pigenholing users to certain mapping applications. Say what you will about the P4 but it works with many applications and platforms.

I'm guessing those props would work on the regular Mavic 3/Cine? Did you notice if they were much quieter than the props that come with the Mavic 3/Cine, extended the flight time, and or provided better performance?

Great video.... Now the question is that did you perform the accuracy observation of the mapping result? You can do it by placing several Check points measured by gnss receiver

I've always wondered about mapping over a neighborhood. Wouldn't you have people and vehicles coming and going? Isn't that against the regulations to fly over such?

Hi, did the new version of the DJI Pilot 2 app change the GUI in map-planner ? In my app I am not able to see distance, estimated time, waypoints, photos and mapping area while planning. I have to save, stop editing and then tap an icon in top left corner to see this information. Is there a way to get the information on the screen like in this video?

I don't see the need for the P4 RTK now with the M3E here. It seems to check all the same boxes and more, with new tech, better range, smaller, longer flight time and a bunch of other enhancements.

when I was in Del Mar a few years ago, I didn't pay attention to the railroad by the ocean.. According to the IR camera, DJI repeated in the Mavic 3EP his decisions from the Mavic 2EP? As far as we know, Flir (DJI puts their IR-camera? isn't he?)does not stand still and there are probably new cherries on the cake.... It would be interesting to see your review on this topic as well!

Sadly the RC doesn't support Litchi, PIx4d capture, DroneDeploy etc. Why DJI? I want to give you money... I guess I am stuck doing capture with my Phantom 4 Pro V2s for a while longer...

Can you answer a question for me? I have a Mavic 2 and I am losing connection between the controller and the Drone. I think it's the cord coming from the controller to the tablet but not sure. Has anyone else had this problem? The screen will go black on me and it's a panic moment. I was able to get it home and landed but I really don't want to go thru that again.

Its not. The regular Mavic 3 or cine is better for making photos and videos. The Mavic 3 E is exclusively made for inspections and mapping.
