Crazy tests. I triple crashed mine and can confirm it's pretty durable. First I accidentally dropped it on the tile floor, and somehow the IMU screwed up so flying it afterward resulted in 2 crashes, one time into a bench. After recalibrating the IMU everything is back to normal ;-)

looks like a solid product... So why it is so sensitive for some interference??? I bought this for trip to Hawaii and it didn want to start at the boat!!! I force it and almost lost it... It got crazy right after took off... Than I took it on Stairway to heaven and it didnt start there too!!! I says "cannot take off and thats it... I was to disappointed!!! My P4P would not have any issues to fly in those situations!!!

Get an inverter. Should work with any charger, if you get the right one. Much cheaper and future proof.

Great video! I was planning to buy the Mavic Air, now confirmed. I have the Mavic pro, the gimbal got damaged for not keeping the locking unit while transporting by air in proper case. Paid $ 300 to replace.

WAIT A MINUTE! As someone who has had several broken gimble assemblies and cameras as a result of some "moderate" crashes (even small tree limbs, etc), I am really hoping that DJI can make a more heavy duty and perhaps a much more "crash resistant" gimble/camera assembly on all future models of their otherwise great drones! This would be even more important to me than new whiz-bang features, as none of these aren't much good if you can't fly it or must spend tons of money and time repairing broken parts, etc. My last gimble repair cost me around $500! And enough is enough!

Im in the market for a drone and i think u just sold me. Ive watched a ton of videos on the camera and range tests and for what i will b using my drone for the aor is the way to go for me. That thing is a flying tank. Had a friend with a mavic pro clip the ground and had to get the gimbal fixed and this thing ran into a tree and didnt have a scratch. i have to say that is pretty impressive. Thanks for the video

Amazing results! I've been flying mine all day worrying about what would happen if it hit anything. I can see now that I may not have much to worry about after all! One suggestion for another test: Drop it from varying heights onto different surfaces (grass, dirt, asphalt) to simulate a motor failure

Holy cow, I thought it was amazing to see the gimble freaking out and then just... Working. I was sure you'd need to remove it and realign it, but not even that! This was a test for dummies, not for real users of drone... How many times you have to manage collision in slow speed and low height? Try to let Mavic gain some speed while doing the test in Sport Mode, while it's cruising at speed 40-50 km/h... Than you will see how "amazing" it is... Go for it!
