DJI Mavic air is this $200 drone any good?

Bought mine 4 years ago for $400. Still an amazing drone. My favorite part is using litchi to fly it autonomously. Create a mission, and the drone literally fly by itself and returns to you when finished

What if the vision sensors need to be calibrated, my understanding is that the DJI assistant 2 does not support the DJI manic air anymore.

@@RageStudios only if the errror warning pops up.. my magic air begin displaying this error. I found a way to download the DJI assistant 1.2.4 which supports the mavic air 1st generation. I’ll share the link later today.

A superb drone and has stood the test of time remarkably well. I've had mine for 2 years now and purchased the goggles just recently. Also just purchased the DJI Neo to add to my equipment tally.

For me it is a great holiday drone. but the app does not work anymore on newer android versions. I guess you use an old android or appele phone? I am looking to buy a new one because of it.

You can not use it anymore... You didn't state the reason why you can't use it. 1. You don't like it as compared with recent drones that's why you can't use it 2. Battery is totally dead that's why you can't use it 3 controller is dead. 4. It looks ugly after using for years that's why you can't use it and prefer to use a clean new drone.

I'd rather have a cheap Mavic pro or a mini 2 over a neo. The Neo lacks decent gimbal stability in wind. Plus it comes in at the same cost with a controller as a Mavic mini 2 se. You can buy second hand mini 2 combos for $120 if you're fast enough

Yep got a second one hand myself recently to fit in my bike pouch. Great that you can do without the RC and even use SmartCapture (don't forget the 3 picture "group capture" gesture). Also it's compatible with Litchi or Maven to use "Follow Me" with GPS. Battery life was never that good on the Air, when it was new you could get 16 minutes, no ?
