Another great tutorial. I never knew what focus mode was now I do. It is similar to POI but instead of just going in a circle you have control. Thanks for this.

I did a google search for Litchi + Focus, and it brought me here! Thanks for the tip! I do still need to know how to get the camera on my Mavic to focus (lens-wise) during a Litchi mission. I flew a great waypoint mission I planned, but the camera was out of focus the whole time. I tried touching the screen like on DJIGO, but that does not focus the camera when flying under Litchi.

Hi jimlips ... Same thing here yesterday. Found out as you probably have by now .. a video someone posted with fix (for him anyway) about BEFORE takeoff, tilt the gimble UP and focus on a distant object BEFORE takeoff and it's supposed to stay focussed thereon for that mission. I will try it tomorrow when the weather is better. COld and cloudy today. Cheers. Merv F Perth Australia.

Really liked this video on Focus with Litchi! I have been wondering how to use the Focus feature and this explained it extremely well. Plan to use it for future missions. I use waypoints almost exclusively and this adds another tool to my toolbox. Thanks Dylan.

How did you set your map view in bottom right to continuously zoom out (automatically??)... to keep the red paper airplane (drone) in sight in the map? Nice video. TY for sharing.

I've watched this before Dylan, Thanks. I'm gonna try this Focus mode while flying directly over and then beyond my "Focused" target (using only the right forward stick) to see if the Mavic's camera and it's orientation will adjust themselves keeping the target in frame by spinning on it's Yaw axis as it moves over and away from the target. That would be spectacular if it'll accomplish this seamlessly. This maneuver is challenging to say the least to do manually. My thoughts are that it will simply stop once it's directly overhead of the target in spite of the right stick forward movement.

...But maybe if I then yaw left or right and pull the right stick back it may begin to perform the task I'm looking for.

Awesome review. DJI needs to add this feature to their Go 4 app. Also it would be cool if you could hover over a spot and hit a special button to mark it as the cameras focus spot.

Very nice tutorial Dylan. Thanks for your time. I have the Mavic 2 Zoom and the only way I can control the ISO and Shutter Speed without touching the screen (I hate it when my screen gets covered with fingerprints) is by using Litchi which I love and have used it about 80% of the time on my Phantom 3 Adv, Phantom 3 Pro, Phantom 4 and now my Mavic 2 Zoom.. I have the 5D button programmed to open the camera settings (push down) and to change ISO and Shutter Speed. Works great! ps: There is no letter E in LIT-chi. j/k :) Thanks again!

now if you or someone from comunity can tell me this: I did nice wp mission at wakeboarding park so I can easy track and film wakeboarders.Is there option in WP mission to set aircraft to go few circle smoothly ,not only one? (something like continuosly Wp CIRCLE)

Do you have to use 3rd party software to do this? Will DJI GO 4 with Mavic Pro not do this?
