Thanks for the video! I need to replace an arm and needed to know the mechanics of it. I do have a couple of tips to help you and your viewers with soldering. Having a clean soldering iron tip makes it so much easier! Once the iron is heated, wipe the tip with a damp paper towel folded several times so you don't burn yourself. The tip should be a shiny silver color. If not, try recoating it with solder and wiping it again. If all else fails, replace the tip. With a clean tip put just a bit of solder on it and touch the solder pad on the board. The solder should melt almost immediately and you can remove or insert the new wire. This should take a matter of a few seconds. Also, use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the wire so you don't burn your fingers!

11:25 please explain in detail what you are doing here! I can't follow any videos that explain how to put in the spring. My arm always stays in the middle oosition without any tension... How d you "load" a spring?

Why you cannot just replace the motor with a new one from the arm, instead whole arm.

The front right arm stopped working after firmware update and now getting esc error. What you think it's just software or I need to replace the arm.

Thanks, great detail. Is a 30watt soldering iron ok for the job and is there any risk of over heating the circuit board and doing damage?
