Great video, I lost my Mavic 2 Pro for two days. Finally pulled up the Google map and downloaded the Latitude/Longitude app for $1.99 LOL and it walked me right to the drone in a open field. I knew it was there but couldn't find it. After two days of snow and rain using the app walked right to it but everything was covered in snow and ice and had some condensations on the main and bottom camera and wouldn't precision land because condensation blocking the camera's lens. With your help I pulled that baby apart and used my wife blow drier on low and dried it out and she's good as new. Thanks for this video and thank you Google maps and good old GPS coordinates and a $2 app.

Hi Thanks for the video. I am a total beginner and just about to spray alcohol to the circuit board after soaked in the salt water. I would really appreciate it.

hi thank you for the feedback and your support, regarding your question, 1st make sure its a 90%+ alcohol iso : amzn.to/39noeir don't use anything under 90% this alcohol its not conductive you can without any issue wash the board using this alcohol. this alcohol will replace the salt water and remove the oxidation. and about the tape i need to see some pics to know what you talking about, upload some pics and send me. use this: prnt.sc/

Will any integrity issue for all the dismantle part/ribbon after we take it apart? I'm planning to replace the body shell. Because the authorized seller in my country said, there will be a problem if I replace it myself. They want me to sent it to the shop and they do the rest for me. Off course I need to pay more😢

i would recommend you to take it to them, the ribbon o flex cable or parts wont get damaged , but if you going to do it record your self , (trust me) and its not hard just record and if you forget what goes where then you can look back at the video. but if you going to take apart the shell it will take you about 3h if you take your time and dont panic, its easy. all you need to know the parts where not born there, so it must be able to remove easy. :) NOTE: flex cables(ribbon) dont bend then sharp, flex them no problem but dont bend them. and the electronics inside are not sensitive so dont worry too much. Hi, your video is very helpful. Can I ask do you know what places the different hex screws go? Had a nightmare and banged into my table and the screws have all mixed up 😔 It looks like I have 3 different types for the bottom case, arm covers and bit by gimbal cover. Most look the same apart from 4, which look like 2 pairs with different threads and thinner body than the rest. 2 also have a bit of blue glue on them. Can anyone help point me in the right direction as to where these need to go? Then do you know how tight the arm covers need to be? Looks like my last strip down caused the middle casing to crack by the arm, I only tightened slightly so not sure if the arm was too tight or too lose which caused the casing to crack when I opened the front arm? Thanks

your gimbal was turned on when you had the protective cover, and or maybe something touched it when it was powered on or you touched the gimbal when it was on!, that will damage or it will set it off its balance. there is nothing you can do, just power on and off and if it doesn't calibrate automatically then you have to replace it or send it for warranty.
