I bought the DJI pocket 3 without the combo when it came out and I’m glad I waited for the stand alone Mic 2. It has extra features that the one that came in the combo didn’t have. I think that it’s the perfect companion for the pocket 3 cause now two people can have a mic and it’s more discreet while filming in public. Where I live people will kick you out of a place if you have a camera.

Got mine yesterday but been too busy to use, tried it out with onboard recording and its great, a lot smaller than it looks in videos which is also a good thing

Bugger! And I just bought the Hohem Mic-01. Didnt realize that they were selling the DJI Mic 2 transmitter only. I heard it also pairs with the Insta360 Ace Pro. Can you test please. Thanks!

Yes, it does pair with the Ace Pro and no receiver needed :-) I would send the other one back and get the DJI it's super nice.

Hey man! Love your content! As a fellow videographer, audio monitoring is key for me. I've been trying to connect my DJI Pocket 3 or DJI Mic 2 to my bone conduction headphones via Bluetooth while recording for wireless audio monitoring. I've asked around on KZbin and the DJI forum but no luck so far. Any chance you could share a wireless solution? Thanks a bunch!...... really appreciate your help here...

Don't think you can do that wireless, but the mic 2 receiver does have a headphone jack.

Is the record button a remote that’ll activate camera recording on iPhone or does the record button allow recording?

It does work as a remote with the Action 4, not sure if it will activate a recording on the I phone.

when i charge my dji mic 2 via type c port i dont see any lights but it just vibrate only once when i plug in the type c charger
