Enjoy your flights a lot! The GPS works only outdoors.

My friend next door has the Mini 1 he likes it but I think it's too small. It's hard to see once it's flown a good distance away from the flyer. The controller on the Mini 2 is certainly bigger and better than the Mini1 that's for sure though. I have personally always preferred and had bigger drones though. Great video. Many thanks.

Hey Dene, thank you so much for being around! :) I can remember your comments from the very early days of the channel and I can see that you consistently share some awesome thoughts and comments. In fact - in the recent years I've developed this obsession about portability. The Mini 2 is super small and amazingly portable, and the only reason I will probably ditch it is the lack of tracking feature (because I often have to film myself scooter reviews and the Mavic Air 2 does great following me). But it's pretty much giving me everything from the Mavic Air 1 except the tracking and the D-Cinelike, which is totally fine. At the beginning I thought - what a lightweight and weird toy... But now I think otherwise. 😇

Great video and useful tips. We ourselves, are just beginning to learn how to operate and get the most out of our dji2 drone. Recalling that our first flight was a total panic! But also fun :) As with so many things in life, practice makes better ;) Thanks again!

Oh, I can well remember these first flights. It's been raising my pulse a lot! Perhaps if you get a DJI Care Refresh pack, it will be a good relief. Try to enjoy more and think less about possible complications! This drone is awesome.

There’s 3 ways to take off you can turn the props on an jerk the drone up or down An would take off right from your hand

It's called "Ditoo" by a company called Divoom. A pretty awesome thing - it's a bluetooth speaker with extras and pixelated display.

Top recommendation avoid trees, power lines, branches, any thing that can damage the drone mid flight and put the sun protector to protect the gimbal

Is there a limitation to how far you can fly? I mean distance limiter, not the battery which is an obvious factor.
@TechMishka3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can set such. Other than that - they say range can be up to 10km in perfect conditions.

Another reason I would never purchase a DJI product in England is the prices they charge. The Mini2 Fly More Combo is =to $775 direct from DJI UK. Too expensive.
@TechMishka3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, there are a lot more standartizations and import taxes that have to be added...

Indeed! Prices in Europe don't make any sense generally...

@@TechMishka : Agree, i have one, but prefer my Fimi X8 and my Hubsan Zino. They are bigger as you are aware. And have more weight. Far better in windier conditions.

I have been able to fly my Mini 2 in the house w/o the phone.
@jackguinn8462 Жыл бұрын
Bought it about 2/3 yrs. ago and having been a long haul trucker,never got the time to even look at hardly, so I got it out,fired it up,and flew it in the living room,a couple of times in the last few days, By the way,I'm 71 yrs. old.

Got 2 ceiling fans going in that LR also and they do put off enough air to push that Mini 2 around.

I can't get into the Dji website. About 2/3 yrs. ago when I bought bought my Mini 2,no problem. Now because I had to work and make a living(longhaul trucker)I did not have enough time to mess with it. Fast forward to age 71 and retired I thought it would give me something to do in my old age. Have been trying to get into Dji's web site and keep giving me the run around about my password (LONG LOST)saying we already have a profile by that name and password,duh,yes it's me.Then I get the run around by computer generated messages "do thie,do that, wrong PW,"you only have a few seconds to create a new profile(they kept saying)"we already have a profile by that name,bla bla,or "try another password". Beginning to think I wasted about 500 bucks. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!
@jackguinn8462 Жыл бұрын
BTW,I can fly the thing I close prosemetry with out the phone and app. Don't think that would be possible w/o a phone for distance comms.
