DJI mini 2 in 2024 | Still better ?

I have many DJI drones and the Mini 2 is still one of my favourite...just love the shape and it's just so nible and robust! Great for beginners or a back-up drone when travelling!

found one second hand for $240 which is a steal for a drone like this so in my opinion i think that its still a great drone even if it is lacking a few features that the latest drones have. if you can get it for a good price then 100% its still worth buying

My first drone was a Mini 2. I still have it and will never part with it. I purchased the Mini 4 Pro because of the features. IMO, the Mini 2 will always be a good drone for new drone pilots and for experienced drone pilots. It has use cases. While it does not have all of the features of the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro, flying it knowing its limitations can be enjoyable and fun. The Mini 2 cranks out great 4K footage right out of the drone camera. The footage can be made better in post with a premium video editor.

It's still a good drone even for 2024. I'm an award-winning photojournalist & president of "AI News Service Puerto Rico" U.S. Press Corps in Puerto Rico and the Mini 2 is the second drone that I use for small places through the rivers and mountains of P.R. My main drone is the DJI Mavic Air 2. Two of the BEST DRONES for the price in the market and they are VERY reliable. Photojournalist: Miguel Ramos - Good video!

I lost my Mini 3 to an awful neighbor where replacing it with a Mini 2 was very tempting but it is not RID Compliant. I guess you don't need RID for under 250g but if your local-government is anti-drone then you'll be harassed by not broadcasting-RID for them to see who is in the air. Someone was using drones over prisons here so they came to speak with every flyer in the county, they spent 3 days undercover in my community of 5+ neighborhoods in uncontrolled-airspace.

The mini 2 is a great drone. But there is a big difference in image quality . After owning the mini3 I truly think you would be disappointed. I do own mini 2 mini 3 pro and the mini 4 pro they’re are a lot of mini 3 pro’s for sale used at a great prices . Because people want the newer mini 4 the mini 3 pro has many features the regular mini3 lacks. Just trying to help . Mean neighbors suck,,, I wish you luck. Keep us updated. Thanks 😊
