Top feature I'd want? Auto HDR bracket EV -3 EV0 EV+3 RAW photo configurable pano mode like vert pano horizontal pano super res 4x3 pano. That would make it an instant buy for me even if it was $2500. I don't own a drone, but it's my understanding that they don't have usable HDR pano modes yet - like you have to go manual and do it yourself which is slower and the drone can drift in the time it takes you to move the shutter speed etc.

I'm wondering what next gen toy DJI is going to push next. Within 3 months ths we got a gen4 Osmo Mobile, gen2 Ronin, gen2 Pocket, and now a gen2 Mini. All thats left is the Action and upper scale drones.

@@TetraTimboman You can use AEB (3 or 5 photos), and you don't have to deal with changing exposure manually. You have a lot more control over the image if you do the framing yourself, automatic pano mode is a really unnecessary tool for a photographer.

The fact is nobody is going to fly a 249 gram drone more than a few 1000 feet if 1000 feet at all. It is practically invisible at 100 ft. The more compact Mini controller let's you travel very small.

I went from an inspire 2 down to a spark after quitting the industry and the thing that sells the mini 2 for me is the occusync, 4k and the fact you can fly these almost anywhere. This may well be the drone that gets me back into flying drones after falling majorly out of love for it.

i bought the mini brand new over the summer and it was a defect. it fell out the sky twice second time during take off. first crash i wasnt insured it cost $170 to repair second time it was insured. it crashed twice in less than 30days never got to enjoy it. Dji customer service refuse to believe my aircraft was defected. they wouldnt exchange even with the flight log proof. ive been a loyal customer to dji. i own a ronin, osmo mobile3,osmo action, and now a defective mavic mini. im disappointed in them. so i will never purchase a dji product again. now im stuck with a $550 mini i never got to fly. stay blessed Pete your the dopest!!

Spark is a great sturdy drone. Wonder why dji completely abandoned it. Imo mavic mini is a spark 2.0 cause of the features being tone down. But they need to slap "Mavic" on it cause it sounds more professional & can sell more than a spark 2.0. People just take it more seriously

Peter, I really enjoy your videos thank you for making them. I am a nurse and was concerned when watching your video tonight. What has me concerned is that you said that you were having illness symptoms and then you filmed sitting right next to your guest. If you are feeling symptomatic at all, for any reason, it would be best not to be in close proximity of other people. It would be great for your viewers to see how much you care for others by watching out for their health as you recover from your illness. With your expert camera skills I am sure you can get creative in the future, if you are feeling symptomatic, and film your videos while allowing for social distancing and or mask wearing. From a health promotion and teaching standpoint and a little of a soapbox point... Peter we are in the middle of a 100 year airborne pandemic and flu season is here and you are symptomatic with “something.” I suggest you consider getting tested for covid-19 and so should your guest. Try to get a PCR test and not a rapid covid-19 test as they are more accurate however all tests miss positive cases some of the time. The cdc has a great “symptom checker” on their web site and this can help you decide if you should get tested. They also have further advice about how long to isolate for. If you still aren’t sure you can call your doctors office or your local health department for advice on testing. Last time I was tested I got a free box of KN95 masks. Feel better Peter. Thank you for your videos. Thank you for doing the right thing and caring for the health of others around you. Nurses and those affected by this pandemic thank you for your stewardship ❤️🌎

So... what's the upgrade? Just the 4k (vs. 2.5k)? Does it come with any updated anti-collision or follow features? I actually don't mind the bigger controller. I found the size of the Mini 1 controller was almost TOO small. It didn't like my Note 10+ very much. Big phone, small controller. So a bigger controller is better for me.
