It speaks for itself that DJI is doing this. They already made the solid platform and has a lot of spare materials which can easily be used to make cheaper models. This generates more money.

I found it strange as well,,, but then I thought about it,,, earlier this year EXO tried to out do them when they was late on the release,,, so they dropped the Mini-3 Pro to knock them back down and hold there position as #-1 in the Drone industry...

I’m thinking of trading In my Phantom 4 Pro for a Mini 3 Pro (or even non Pro) is that sensible? The P4P produces super video and stills, can I expect as good from the Mini 3?

Camera quality sure is a top feature. It is still a cool option for enthusiasts. I personally dont think I need all the additional features on the Pro so if I could get one without them for a cheaper price then why not.

Great videos, thank you! Question: For a Mini 2 owner that *ONLY* shoots stills (and does not care about follow modes, obstacle avoidance, etc....) - is this worth the upgrade? Will the stills, due to the larger sensor, be meaningfully better? If not this, would the M3P?

I would go for Air 2s for stills/ Most bang for your bucks with that.

Disconnect may have been caused by edging near high RF sources emitted from the locomotive generators, Distributed Power radio connection to the rear engines or maybe even the power lines.

The first flight went very well, this seems to be a very solid release for DJI. And very affordably priced for new users and drone pilots on tight budgets. Great video and thanks for sharing.

Seems like they release the big guns first then the lower grade stuff although the consumer grade stuff is still pretty good and often have at least one feature that the higher grade stuff doesn't.

Three questions: 1. Hows the sound level compared to the PRO? 2. Are its props interchangeable with the PRO? 3. Does this suffer from the same transmission problems as the PRO did? (Read ... actual transmission like 10% that of specs)

1: Sound is same 2: Yes 3: Mini 3 pro doesnt have transmission problems. Mine goes up to like 7km

Hey. I am hoping to upgrade to the Mini 3 from the original Mavic Mini. while I don't need it, but I want it. I am feeling a little fomo right now. It's unfair that it doesn't have active tracking, even drones that cost 40 euros have this.

@@thkotsak1950 there is a walkaround for that, just use quickshot circle option and make it fly in the direction you are going, the drone will never circle but follow you because you are moving

I always presumed it was only compatible with occusync 3 like the mini 3 and Air2S etc, but if it work with this new mini 3 then I dunno why it wouldn’t be future compatible with air 2, mini 2 etc. it’s deffo made it a lot easier and more convenient not having to set up with phone or tablet all the time.

Billy how are you doing today bro. I sure because of new updates the only differences are the O. A and the D- log. They are almost the same in terms of flight time and everything. A lot of the features are just better stats and couple bells and whistles. The pro is probably better for someone who needs better flight control in general and or better mega pixels....just gotta shell out the Chedda

Looks like an amazing little drone. You’ll get better range if you turned around facing the drone when you flew past yourself a couple of times. But of course you knew that!
