I have the DJI Mini 3 (not pro) and have the controller without screen and wanna know if I can do the same as you did in that video when installing external antennas and if not, can you make a video on how to do so ? I am very very new to this and live in Orlando Florida where it's very populated and can't go very far but want to get scenics views of my city

HI Alex I have the DJI MINI 3 pro and have done a range test at normal Hight restrictions and I get about 2,000 meters but then done it again at 500 meter up and yes I know its not lawful but I wanted to know if that height makes a difference and I got out to 4055 meters, but yes I was way above the hight I should have been flying at 120meters, I am interested in adding them external antenna to my RC as you managed 5KM out at 40 meters up, I am sure if you were up at the lawful height then I am sure you would have got out a lot further, regards TJK UK, I have subscribed as well great Video, I am in Olney just above Newport Pagnell if you fancy a meetup, you would be welcome to fly out of my back garden.

5km on CE is very very good result in my opinion. I'm thinking of doing the external antenna coupled with FCC hack on my Air 2s ... will probably get 10 km of range.

just out of curiosity , what would it help to get 10km , the battery is not gonna last the return trip , this was already on the limit

i took a google measure from The Hub CMK to Broughton just in case you'd rigged the video - that's defo 5klm, and a high interference Wifi/RF area also. Lordy. 💪

@@alex.semeniuk there's one youtube video with tutorial,but you have to pay them $69 for this "tool" and they send you to google disc. I did,not got scammed as i thought at the beginning. It's very simplified and if i was able to do it i think pretty much anyone can do it, Link to a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXmYmGmQidSYic0 I'm not an expert and don't know how much is that pricetag overpaid for the service,but i'm pretty sure that it is. Ps. Gonna order the smaller antennas and install it on my DJI RC on top of FCC.
