When I replace an arm, I only remove the arm, cut the wire , shorten the wire, solder and heat shrink the Red, White n Black wires . takes about 15 minutes to do one arm. The mini 3 and mini 3 pro arms are not exact replacements. but the pro arm will work on a mini 3 standard. (has different screws) . the pro has an antenna wire , standard does not

Any other Mini 3 flyers have the head of the prop screws break off ? What can be done to not have to send back to DJI for 3 new motors. Hit an awning string and fell 6 ft to the ground. At first thought it was nothing, maybe replace a few blades, but on the ground were the small heads of the screws and the rest still in the post. The screws are so small it;s not possible to drill them out. Could one just cut the posts off and drill and tap for Mini2 prop screws ? They are MUCH STRONGER and thicker in diameter. Hi Steve. Yes ME!! One screw on front and 2 screws on rear...my own fault as I overtightened them and the heads snapped off when changing props. Drilling or cutting is out of the question as the screw shafts are 1mm thick and are so close to the electronics. The only option is to replace the motor arm...in my case, two of them. I'm in the UK and have sent the drone away to DroneDoctor who are doing the work for me. It's costing around £200 (GBP). The arms themselves are around £80 each just to buy them and it's a hell of a lot of work as you can see from this video! Good luck...regards Kev

When I try to get the wires off the esc board, it doesn’t come off and it looks like there is no mercury to melt. It ends up looking burnt. Does anyone know why this is or have a solution? My guess is that there is a heat resistant material on top of all the mercury. I don’t know how to remove it tho

sorry its a bit late of a response, but you can just wire the new wires to the old wiring. That's what I did. that way I didnt even have to remove the board at all.

So my drone crashed into a tree a while back.. when it landed on the ground , the (looking from top) left arm got screwed up inside arm socket. Doesn't snap firm in place like right arm. It flies, but it's a little loose. Bought the best buy warrantee, since I knew I would break it within 2 years. Was going to fix it myself, because of the wait time and they would upgrade the firmware (Remote ID) well couldn't wait (for a mod to disable) so I updated that already.. but... This looks way complicated. Im decent with a solder, but.. Will send it in for repair after this next upcoming trip.
