DJI MIni 4 Pro vs. DJI Mini 3 Pro flight times compared - which drone will fly longer?

I recently bought the mini 4 pro fly more and picked up the 45 minute battery. I feel like these things have plenty of flight time with multiple batteries. The remote will run out of battery before I drain all of these batteries. I have only flown a few times testing the drone out and loving it so far.

With multiple, batteries, yes there is a ton of flight time. The battery on the remote seems very big and seems to last 5-10 flights.

Lots of batteries is great for tons of flying time. The remote has a big battery and seems to last 6-10 flights

Plus battery equals remote id on. But I bought one plus now that’s all I use sooo much more flight time can go farther and more stable

I seen that when you have obstacle avoidance and recording it will use more battery use

Yes, I didn’t even think about recording video and how much battery that eats up!!!!! I suspect obstacle avoidance sensors always eat up battery even when bot used

Does the 4 have more sensors than the 3? I wonder... if it does, do the extra sensors use just a little extra juice to run?

Yes, the result surprised me as well. The Mini 4 pro has more sensors indeed with extra side sensors. Also there is an LED light at the bottom of the drone. However, all these sensors were not used since both drones were put in 'Sport' mode with no obstacle avoidance. They were likely still drawing power though. Also, the battery on the Mini 4 Pro is lighter at 77 grams vs. 81 grams on the Mini 3

Yes, that surprised me as well. The Mini 4 pro has more sensors with the addition of side sensors. None were used since both drones were flown in Sport mode, with no obstacle avoidance. But, they were likely still drawing power.

The mini 4 has more features working than the 3 so I guess will draw more power.

Yeah! They were all turned off though or deactivated
