DJI Mini 4K - My Wife yells: "YOU ARE IN THE TREES" - SO MANY MISTAKES !! (My "First Time"- Flight )

First Test Flight of my DJI Mini 4K Drone that my wife got me for my Birthday. Actually as you can tell, I've never flown a Drone before, so OBVIOUSLY, I have a LOT to learn yet with it. But I'll get it. Being able to watch this video afterwards, it was very easy to see that I made soooooo many mistakes!! For example, I was pushing the control sticks way too much, making turns much too fast and I was NOT high enough. (At the 8 minute mark), I thought, I'll fly above these guys playing basketball at the park. As I fly over to it, I pushed the top left button on the controller that drops the camera so its looking straight DOWN! You will see it hovering over a Red Bush type tree. I should have stopped and figured out how to return back to a forward viewing position, BUT I didn't , instead, I continued over, just above some power lines. Once I was over the Basketball court, I went down for a bit and my wife starts saying "I think you are in the trees! So I raised it up a bit and started moving to the left just OVER a tree. She yells again.. "TREES"... So I stopped and caught my breathe, put my heart back in my chest and raised the Drone up..(Had I moved a few more feet to the left..I would not have been posting any further videos!)
BUT this was a great learning opportunity which made me realize..I need to REALLY do things differently in the future. Again, I'd NEVER touched a Drone before! BUT THE GOOD NEWS! If you watch any of my videos "after" this initial first one, you will see a MAJOR IMPROVEMENT on them.
I'm now flying Higher, Much Slower, and being far more smooth with the control sticks! And I can now say my confidence level is far, far better, as is the Quality of the content I'm putting out now.
Its all been a major learning experience for this Old Dog, but I'm getting better with each flight.
