When you and I were trying to download their app on my phone to see if that would work, I was SHOCKED that it was over a 500mb download! WHOA! That was an amazingly large app. That’s 1/2 a GIG!!! I’m so glad that you got their attention so they make improvements!

Great information, I was considering this drone. My phone is compatible but the large app size is a drawback, thanks so much for sharing. 👍🏻

i had to buy another phone too needed a new one anyways .. .got the 2024 moto g power 5g $149 walmart straight talk phone because i use straight talk cell service . took my chances and it worked.. i know i could of got a controller a little cheaper .. pre used maybe . it won't fly indoors at all with every light on in the house ..and that was one of the reasons i got it for .. the app controllers are horrible and slow laggy response .may advice is to just research what controllers work best .. i have an dji rc 1 controller i thought would work with it but no go and it was sorta top of the line one and a half years ago ..plus with a controller you can go 10x as far and have rth .

I received my DJI Neo today, and I'm really disappointed. I live in a northern area where there's no cellular service, but we do have Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I can't activate the drone because when I connect my device to the app, I get disconnected from the Wi-Fi. It's really frustrating. I believe DJI should allow both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to work for the connection.

Yep, that is why I posted that review and DJI needs to fix that issue right away.

I don’t know Lamar, I was really interested in that drone, but I think I’m gonna have to pass and look for something else.

I would hold off and see what DJI comes up with to address these issues before buying.
