DJI Neo Review After One Week Flying

Im UK, so usually in built up areas the noise isn't something id want to work with. Love the fact you can use your phone as the controller tho.

Stay tuned for my controller-free flights! The built-in follow me mode works exceptionally well and so do the other built-in intelligent flight modes. It’s cool to just pop out and fly without having to grab so much gear first. What do people think about drones in the UK by the way? #DJINeo

@@IrixGuy your usually ok if you can warn people your going to use them. I do a lot of hospitality work, I don't usually need to use a drone, but the Neo or the new Hoverair's appealed to me because I would need to pack a controller

i use mine in my residential areas following behind my bike. but you live in the uk and you will go to jail if you say something mean on the internet so youll prob go to jail if you do it lol

Great review, thanks for the honest and transparent insights! I’m curious about your thoughts on the video quality of the DJI Neo compared to the Mini 4K. I know the Mini 4K has superior resolution and the 3-axis gimbal makes a big difference, but I’m wondering-if I play a video taken with the Neo on a TV screen, will it still look good? I’d love to hear your opinion on how the Neo holds up on a big screen!

Great question and thank you! Check out my DJI Mini 4 Pro videos playlist and compare it to my DJI Neo videos (I’m editing and uploading new Neo videos as I type this). I don’t have the Mini 4K but the Mini 4 Pro is at least good for comparison’s sake! I’ll keep things honest and the Neo’s video quality has truly “wowed me!” I hope to post tonight or tomorrow but my DJI Neo Windy Conditions video shows how the Neo’s video quality looks with significant wind.

if the next version of the Neo would be foldable and virtually silent with a better camera I may pick one up .. I passed on buying this current version mostly due to the sound of it and not being foldable .. I know its small already but imagine folding it so its half the size

I kinda like not having to unfold and fold it! You're right.....hopefully the next DJI Neo will be quieter. Is they could pack in a Hasselblad camera, that would be incredible LOL

One reason I like it is because it is NOT foldable. Take it out, turn it on and it's ready to go. No delicate props to warp because you put it in the case wrong.
